golpeador question: adding to beat u...

Hi friends - I have a guitar with a ton of fingernail marks on the top that has never had a golpeador.
Any chance I can add a clear one without all the variation in dried glue color? You know.. where it sinks into the marks and grooves and dries a cloudy color and it looks like a pale colored zebra

Thanks

You should try to level out the worst dings, if not they will be seen a air bubbles.

You can use Superglue/ Nitro lacquer/ clear fingernail paint and the classical one: heated shellack stick.
Remember to level of with a very nicely setup small cabinet scraper.

Difference in color will show up.

Alternative can be to refinish the top with a darker lacquer.
