Ricardo Sanchis Carpio Guitar plan

So I've placed an order on a flamenco Guitar to be built for me in Toronto by a Luthier who has been recommended to me by a great Flamenco player. I want him to build me a guitar based on the Ricardo Sanchis Carpio RSC (2006) plan which I love the sound of, but I cannot find it.. not even on lmii.
any idea where I can find plans?

Thanks in Advance

Ricardo Sanchis plan??
Why not buying a used Ricardo Sanchis.
They aren't that expensive like Reyes or rare where plans are needed

Roozbeh,

I second Arash's advice. Why don't you find a Richardo Sanchis guitar, play it and if you like it, buy it.

Even if you find the RSC plan (!) and have a guitar made, your favourite sound can not be guaranteed.

A

probably because sanchis uses plans of Conde or barbero etc themselves. I would personally let a luthier use whatever plan he is MOST FAMILIAR with if you want good sound results. External aesthetics are a different story, perhaps you could have those details customized.

Have you looked at used ones? They might be be cheaper than having a replica constructed and without the wait.

Even if you had 100% dimensionally accurate plans, that would be no guarantee
the guitar would sound even close to what you based the plans off of. I think
to get a RSC guitar, you'd have to buy an RSC guitar ..

My thoughts anyway.

Jeff.

Well, the Luthier is not charging me much for it, I think we will finish at around 2k Canadian.
He uses master grade Spruce from Switzerland which he has a liscense to get 3 pieces of each year. The cypress is also master grade and his work is fantastic. The only reason its cheap is because he is not well known.

The prior Negra that he built using the Barbera 1945 plan sounded really good so Im know he is used to building based on that plan. That is the plan Id go with if I dont get my hands on a Carpio plan. The reason that I didnt buy a used RSC is cause I cant afford any that Ive looked up for the past month. They all go for over 3500+ customs and so that will probably be my second pro guitar!

Rooz,

Whatever you decide to do, IMHO a guitar form the house of Sanchis will yield a lifetime in the joy of playing.

His name is Mohammadreza Isfahaninejad. I'd doubt anyone other than Maybe Arash would know him. He specializes in Persian instruments but Babak Amini (well known Flamenco player) has seen great guitars from him and recommended him.

This guy can be really good, if you'd pay more for a copy, than a used original.

beno, if you say "buleria" model, isn't that Hnos Sanchis (the Sons) model and not Ricardo's (father) ?

If so, these are much cheaper than Ricardo Sanchis.
I never heard about the Ricardo Sanchis "Buleria" model

Its never too late to back out.
You only buy a guitar when you have played it and are happy with it.
Perhaps you've paid a deposit and, of course, you might lose that, but it may be worth it
