Can you help?

I got this request and wondered if anyone can help?

quote:

I came across the ‘Foro Flamenco’ page and decided to email you as I was wondering whether you might be able to help me with something.

My name is Amy and I am currently working on a short film project and have been asked to research into a flamenco track that the director is really keen on using: ‘Quisiera Amarte Menos’ - Bulerias de la Tia Encarna (Pata Negra).

I have been looking into it but have had little luck in sourcing much information on it. I was wondering whether you might know anything about the track or artists? For example, who might own the rights to the track or whether it might be possible and if so, how I would get in contact with the artists?

Apologies if this seems totally out of the blue and I know it is a long shot! Just running low on ideas of how else I can obtain further information on the track.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope to hear from you soon.

There doesn’t seem to be an obvious point of entry. The best I can suggest is to start in Seville and see if she can locate (or locate someone who can locate, etc.) Rafael Amador.

The Letra is attributed to Luis Cesar Amadori. Hope that helps, an Italian filmmaker.

If you want to use this particular version you would probably have to contact Canal2 or the owners of the rights to Rito y Geografia, or whichever program this was taken from.
