Guitar lester devoe 1996

The Californian guitar maker Lester Devoe is the luthier who made this fine flamenco guitar, made in 1996. Lester Devoe is regarded as one of the best flamenco guitar makers in the world. In fact, his pieces of work have been praised and played by Paco de Lucia, Vicente Amigo, Sabicas,Antonio Rey,El viejin,Carlos de Jacoba… both in recording studios and live concerts.

This flamenco guitar is built with superior quality woods, impossible to obtain nowadays. The top are made of german spruce has a totally straight and even grain, which is quite accentuated. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, whose beauty and quality are simply magnificent.

Its spectacular sound and marked character are other great features of this work of art. The basses are powerful and brilliants but also deep. The trebles are vivid, crystal clear, with great scope and sustain.

The tension is medium, and the height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard very balanced, all of which provides the performer with a high degree of comfort for both hands.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and completely original, without any kind of cracks or repairs whatsoever.

Finish : nitro lacquer

String height at the 12 fret : 2.8 mm

saddle height : 8 mm

nut withdt : 53 mm
