Jose Lopez Bellido ? (advice)

Hi, i need an advice..
ther is bellido guitar to buy.. but it seems too cheap.

It is about 1000E. The label is not signed and owner seys it was probabelly made in Bellido workshop but by someone alse i 1993.. Has no Bellido head..
Do you think it is cider o spruce? looks like cider.
I can see it live but it is in other city so i don't know if i should go there...

Well its not signed so Jose Lopez did not make it. It might have been made in any workshop/factory in Spain.

So, maybe it does not seem too cheap at all. The price may be about right. Its difficult to judge until you have played it.

I have seen such a Bellido not to long ago in Holland.
Do not know what it is, maybe a student model, maybe built in a factory in Valencia.
1000 euro is a lot of money, for just a label.

Bellido sightned his 1a models also the underside of the top near the soundhole. Maybe you can find with a small piece of mirror a stamp or something there.

Yes, i must play it a bit.. sure Jose Bellido did't make it but maybe it had been done by his student or sth.. i mean the quality was confirmed by maestro..As i was tolled guitar was bought in Granada from the workshop and i think it is true.. but from the other hand...it could be made anywhere...

I would not pay 1000 for that guitar. Also rosewood fretboard is used only in rather cheap guitars

That is pure speculation. If you want to buy a guitar based on that, go ahead.
There´s a long tradition in Granada guitar shops to buy factory guitars and put labels in them without a signature. Its a standard procedure and is not considered wrong here in Spain. I have sold quite a few when I worked in a Granada guitar shop.
