R. I. P. Oliver Farke

I´ve just been informed that Oliver Farke has passed away 2 days ago in the age of 46 years.

Oliver was editor and general manager of the German flamenco magazine i]¡Anda!. The magazine was foundet in 1994 as medium of Germany´s first flamenco peña Flamenco Vivo. Later the peña closed and the Anda Edition was founded, offering several medias about flamenco. ¡Anda! became a commercial but never got lost its content on info substancial matters on flamenco. He took great part all-over the German tonque flamenco region bringing up to a presence that it now has.

With Oliver the German flamenco scene has lost a notability. The flameco surely wouldn´t have reached its prevalence.

My condolences are with his familiy.

D. e. p.
