Ran into a familiar name today...

I was trawling the internet today, poking around at some of my old haunts. I cruised on over to R.E. Bruné's site because I remembered that I live nearby and felt the urge to check his hours so I could pop over for a good chat and a look around the library.

As always, I got curious about what he had in his inventory.... To my surprise, the name of an old friend and colleague popped up!

The illustrious and elusive Mister Stephen Faulk

It's always nice to see an artifact of a flamenco acquaintance right here in my own back yard. Chicago isn't known for its flamenco and the past few years have been devoid of flamenco for me...

With this post, I announce my return to the scene!

We Chicagoans are lucky to have Brune in our backyard.

If you are interested in the guitar, I will admit his port orford model flamenco guitar is top notch, I can only assume this palo escrito model would be comparable in quality. It looks pretty stunning, I can imagine in my mind's eye the sound and feel, having one of his guitars in my possesion.

I have a PO also: terrific, very, very happy with it.
And I would love to experience this palo escrito first hand...
