Thanks for posting these videos... what a great player. I had the chance to take part in his workshop together with Mahmoud Turkmani at Siccas in Karlsruhe... miles over my level but very inspiring.

Hope you'll provide more of these little movies! Keep going

cant wait for Alma if its coming. Saw him do it in london without the orchestration and it was so beautiful.

I agree iwth Ricardo he does eem to have a softer touch in these videos. Still awesome tho.

Its almost as if my encuentro prayers from my other thread have been answered.haahah

How's about the videos of him with Mahmoud?

PS: Nice to see Antonio fluffing up some of the notes in Alma. Makes him more human & less divine.

Reyes jr is making em with 12 hole tie block now too? That guitar sure sounds good despite mixed reviews of that maker compared with padre.

Quite a bit of reverb there but the Reyes hijo sounds really great IMO.

I couldn't hear him "fluffing" any notes. I only heard an exceptionally talented
musician/composer who played his composition with great depth and beauty.

Yes, Mahmoud is a truely nice chap...and a virtuosic musician in his field, both as guitarist and oudplayer
