F*** the rich

There you are, afraid of the extinction of biological gems like tigers, snow leopards or gorillas ... With the humble measure of grasp that you have, realizing what an unspeakable loss it will mean to this planet; evolutionary, ecologically, aesthetically and in respect of humanity. - To your offspring and again theirs until end.

And all the time aware of what a tiny bit of all the abundant prey money it would be taking that is circling around the world now, and even in daily growing dimensions. To take immediate measures to merely stop the poaching and deforesting / occupation of land would cost a money that the oligarchs wouldn´t even notice as missing in their global creaming off.
Amounts not even existent in their perception.
Each and every single of the over 1200 billionaires could put an end to the most urgent species threats easily, with no whatsoever incisions to their material life.

Instead however you get to read what all the time?
About their acquisition of some clumsy crap "art" for plain cynical sums.
Or worse even right now, Steve Ballmer´s purchasing of a god darn **** BASKETBALL CLUB for USD TWO BILLION.

Imagine the day when you be explaing to your kids or grand kids.
You being asked like: "Why did the people let these animals die out?"
Replying like: "Because it was preferred to either spend on artwork that you could be doing so much better than that or to make private pastime of sports clubs for sick amounts."

Where have we come to, when not in a position anymore to distinguish between the uselessness of some frigging sports club and the unique phenomenon and beauty like with higher developed species?

Has an numbskull sultan like Ballmer never seen a tiger live to get it?
Do guys like that really only engage intellectually with secondary objects?
-

I want to smash my head against the wall when only thinking of what could be done with 2 billion dollars!
-

Mr. Ballmer:
The people who may admire you for your newest transaction will exclusively have cognition hardly worth 2 miserable US dollars.
If that is what you are being surrounded with, then you must be withering.

Find yourself some grounded heads and souls. You owe it to the earth.

Just a suggestion.

You really thought I was looking for advice from someone who thinks a revolutionary attitude of being a drag queen ought to already suffice in terms of comprehension?
Do me a favor and spare me your rural wannabe depth. There exists plenty of that already where I am now.

Is that your impresssion?

Fact is that there are 80 species of fauna and 70 of flora extincting daily. Among these sooner than later the most advanced and precious ones.

Fact is that it has nothing at all to do with what is being up with me or not. I could be in either perfect or miserable shape, and the above would still remain the same.

Fact is that opinions who welcome how budgets large enough to introduce an essential turn-around of fatal conditions, instead being spend on useless trash, are not topical nor appropriate in any other way.

The guy above was only out to offend, and held nothing available to actually contradict my initial critisizm.
You may consider such dumb post useful or worth a kind reply; I do not. And that with your permission is my thought through opinion.
-

I claim it being perverse to spend such a sum for a sports club at the current global conditions.
And you as regradless friend of opinion are invited to counter that.

You thought I meant to offend you? It's quite the opposite, really.

You show a lot of anger and that's never benefitial to anyone, specially to the one who carries it.

Following your train of thought and applying it to the foro (since you posted here), lets sell all the plus thousand euro guitars while keeping a cheap yamaha or alhambra (enough to play) and donate all the money to the causes.

RE: F*** the rich (in reply to Ruphus

I bet people tell you stop being negative if you start talking like this IRL. I don't know man its true, and the scales of wealth in the world are completely tilted. The gap is just too dam big for it to be justified, yet unfortunately that's the way it is.

If you take gander through history its never really been much better or if it has it was destroyed before it had gathered enough momentum to evolve.

This all being said, i don't think it pays to be completely oblivious to the worlds problems even if they don't effect you directly. I mean nothings set in stone , and the way of it is , people don't really give as much of a **** until its actually happening to them personally but its worth keeping in mind that the world is becoming an increasingly smaller place with alot more 'sharing'.

Just business as usual and it doesn't even end with a guy paying 2bill for a Basketball club. I'm going to assume its an investment that will bank him alot more than that by the end, leaving him with the funds to embark on further entrepreneurial adventures and so the big bucks stay in the same circle , because even if you want to participate you cant afford the buy in.

I'd say its completely rigged in my opinion which sucks because of the interconnectivity of it all , it effects you even if your not aware.

At the end of the day though those ****s ain't loosing any sleep over you so I wouldn't donate too much concern to what they are doing if I could help it.

True. Agreed.
I am bursting of fury and desperation.
I see the innocent hit with cars, ****ed with sticks, poles or knives. Locked away or chained. Shaken until suffering brain damage or even perishing.
... Don´t want to prolong the list.

And I have not seen any of minds who take it to actually seize alike and stay balanced. In the opposite. I have seen not one stay alright, but several comit suicide.

As I said, you don´t understand the condition.

Your suggestion would be as congruent like say banning means ( like sticks and knives, etc.) in place of taking action against animal torturers.

It should not be necessary to do as you suggest, nor would it correspond to what I pointed at, or how I did.

Your original post was basically an attack to wealthy people, specially the title. All wealth is relative so you could also say "faq the stupid posers who collect 10K guitars and can barely strum a chord".

The only instance that could hypothetically halt them is public.
And as public is being conditioned to accept squezzed funds invested into gimmicks, I think it valuable to remind the chaps out there of what perversion is.

A turn to sobriety after all is the only hope.

The title was followed by context that made rather clear what kind of rich people and why.

I have never advocated your suggestion for a reason.
I do not think it fair how none-players reserve fine instruments, but for one there is no damage done and secondly the instruments eventually even preserved for a needing future.

Guitar collectors´doings is not nearly comparable to people who could end global havoc in a blink, but instead prefer to increase the paradox / live in literally cynical ways.

As Whithinity says, unfortunately many need to be directly effected first to sense the whole of discrepancy. And that is a shame on trivial level.

Now, understanding your intended approach a bit better: Sorry for having been too harsh!

RE: F*** the rich (in reply to Ruphus

I still think that's not the way to think about this kind of subject. In the end, everything is relative and you have to be in other people's shoes to really understand things, especially in politics... to win elections you have to accept help from many people.. in the end you can have wonderful intentions but you'll never be able to implement them because you have to "repay" those who supported you.

In my opinion, the only valid thought to have at anytime is "what CAN I do about it" followed by "what WILL I do about it".

Remember that you are a rich faqer to those who have way less than you. Imagine yourself explaining your points of view about who's fault it is and saying you can't do nothing about it and being asked "that guitar you're playing could feed 10 families here for a year... I see that you're keeping wealth to yourself... Share it or die!".

Straight lines can be curvy.

Rich can be blamed for a large percentage of problems in society, ever since invention of money. Unfortunately as they mostly make the laws there's not much people can do even to make higher tax percentage for the rich, altough in some countries, finland included there's more tax for the rich. It's a bit like war against drugs(invented mostly for the benefit of the rich), there's not much a single person can do to stop it even when there's suffering.

Agreed; and Rui´s suggestion is only in accordance with the PC tantra. Of the same value like the capitalist suggestion to privatize states estate for sake of higher efficiency, or let the market regulate market conditions, which proved contra productive for a reason.

What counts is common sense and to work on that in any way appears like a useful way to me. In fact, if you deal with fellow being / environment, making one´s subject of matters is what happens involuntarily anyway.

Often times actually I sure could do without if only it wouldn´t blow my head.
-

Just today I was stopped by a police car for walking a dog. In a country completely upside-down, bursting of all kinds of injust and major offence, while these guys keep bothering folks for dress codes etc.

Luckily the dog, feeling the archaic threat, pulled his head out of the collar and ran, so that I was prevented from finishing what my blowing head was about to release.

You don´t plan these things they just burn their way out through your soul. More often than not turning out against your personal interest, yet you can´t but name unbearable discrepancy.

If discrepancy remains unmentioned it will stay.

Such an assumption ought to be explaining how a large percentage of people are leaning back watching the desaster like an amateur dramatic performance.
Thinking to be seeing another natural cycle and that species variety would sort of re-occure.

There exists too little understanding with the people about dimensions and preconditions of evolution.

That is why scientists after international congresses on the mattter of species decline some 8 years or so ago grounded a dedicated organisation in order to spread the news to the people about the fact that the destruction going on being much more rapid and extensive than formerly overcome impacts in earth history, and that there will be no recovery from this men-made desaster. ( Don´t ask me what the name of the org is. I don´t remember. But it can probably be found over the internet.)

When you understand the actual time line it takes for advanced species to emerge, you will realize that "after us" there will be nothing left higher developed than cockroach.

On this earth there will be no time frame or environmental condition for anything like tigers or elephants to come about again.

And even if it were hypothetically possible for other species to emerge after our devastating of the earth, counting on such only indicates the lacking appreciation of the very speciality with the yet existing creatures.

Watching the situation with the relaxation of apparent astronomical farsightedness really is only substantial ignorance of precondition and actual condition.
-

Regarding me possibly being "sensational":
From what I overlook, my estimations of the past ~ 35 years have vastly realized clearly worse than expected. ( With which me having been in good company. If you research scientifical predictions of pollution / warming effects and species decline, you will see that the specialists had to corrected their estimations to the worse all the time, and often enough after alarmingly short time.)

I think there have been only two matters that turned out less detrimental than I had thought. One of them having been the forest decimation through acid rain. ( Still bad enough, with many trees / certainly connifers in central Europe living of only leafy tops.)

How are the dogs Ruphus?

You're a great person I hate to see you get all pissed off over dumb rich -F-****s.

You know what bothers the F-uckout of me these days? China building an empire and saying "Well the West did it so we can too." While 20 years ago they continued to scold the West for being empire building dogs.

Ok and the West banking powers like the IMF are paving the way for China to be an empire by forcing countries like Zambia to sell off property to pay debts. Guess who steps in and buys the damn country out of debt? China. Then they move in and do the same colonial moves they played victim for when Britain moved into China. They are such whiners and hypocrites.

Yeah just goes to show you, you can't count how many noodles are your bowl. What can I do about China leading the second modern wave of colonialism, while at the same time waggling it's ancient finger at the West for colonizing Chinese interests? Talk about a raspingly bad foreign policy F-**** me!

Do you see India whining and pissing and moaning like China? Oh hell no. Tell you What India holds its mud and drinks its tea and goes to work. China get's all Oh We are huge victims...we got slapped down by the West

What does that mean...not much. Ruphus I found a trove of Viola Jokes! Let's tell viola jokes.

F-the rich F-****s, you know Ayn Rand was wrong. All wrong about capitalism, and she accepted welfare when she did not make enough bank selling her terrible raspingly written books.

Now let's tell viola jokes:

1- Why are violists bad lovers?... because they hardly know more than one position.

2- Why doesn't a gorilla play a viola?
He's too sensitive and intelligent to make that choice …

3- A couple of friends are strolling past a cemetery, when one of them sees a
gravestone which reads:
"Here is buried a great violist, an incredible musician"
“Goodness me! They’ve buried two here in the very same grave!” he says.

Ya Stephen San,

you really managed to cheer me up. hehe
Crazy guy! ;O)

We got through the last poison attack alright, and Susie ( the one most effected this time) appearing kind of like Parkinson with the neural damage, seems to almost fully recover until now ( which I would had not thought ... Just like the vet did not think her to survive to begin with ).
She seems to have understood that she has been rescued, now being even more affectionate to me than before.

In the midst of all that It became clear that a mean infection of their paws has set in ( Doc saying it could easily led to amputations). Another procedure involving heaps of antibiotics, desinfecting and applying diverse ointments twice daily to all of them.
But at last, after 2 months now reconvalescence is obvious.

Yet, there is left something that makes the males balls skin tear and them licking themselves all over obsessively. With Hermann´s case almost ceased now, but Charly still far from being back to normal.
I suspect mites or fungus.

Mites are known to flourish with dry climate, but the all present fungi here can only come enforced from unhygienical / careless customs.

Anyway, needless to say, the health conditions for animals here are driving me nuts.
-

I´ll keep that in mind about vilone players. No sex with Anne-Sophie Mutter! ;O|

I am certain that you are being aware of such being only superficially / moralistically contradictive.

Marx was receiving donations from Engels too. Would that lessen anything on the conclusiveness of his analysis? Nyiet a bit.
-

Not long after Deng Siao Ping´s new direction, Der Spiegel reported on the traditional "master race" doctrine of the Chinese ( which at that time no Joe like me would had guessed ).
Something laying dormant / apparently reviving with the economical uphill and which together with a traditionally desastrous attitude towards environment ( despite of currently them taking the largest measures of environmentally friendly introductions) might be occuring to a prospective rest of the world.

Rui, you can´t be serious with this kind of nonchalant truisms.

So, is there no relativity left over?
No difference between con- and destruction, between peace or war, between the fact of fox-eating chicken and its example to the contrary?

Will the fact of an ending life ( which besides even must not be inevitable in terms of relativity either, while science is about to remove the self-destructive mechanisms in the metochondria ) render everything equal?

If the given circumstances were to be inevitable, do you think guys like me would be growing grey hair over it?

The point is the absolute NEEDLESS being of the happening destruction.
And on top of that the misproportion when an evolution of billions of struggling years gets ended by a NEEDLESSLY devastating species that occured yet in the last nano second of the evolutionary track.

On the way to Laotse´s cute little analogies of tao you might not want to forget the phenomenon of differenciation and relativity.
It keeps mattering. And at times, as ordinary as it may be appearing on first sight, it even presents the core of a matter.

What is not new?
Cultures that preserved their environment. They have occured / are possible. Awareness and appreciation are possible.
And as guys like me claim: Self-evidently so, for what is supposed to be thinking species.

Okey-dokey, googled and translated:

What is violine case in Spanish?
- Fidel castro.

How do you prevent theft of your violine?
- You put it into a viola case.

How do you recognize the second violinist?
- From the rusted E-string.

-

And it showed that strings jokes must be scarce.
I found all the same jokes on diverse sites.
