There are players who can, but the noise Paco makes, like a jet engine.

Thanks for posting that, the quality and the camera-work are both excellent.

That looks like a young Robert J. Vidal introducing him: in his day he was the big cheese in the French guitar world, and had a regular weekly flamenco programme on the radio.

He organised a guitar festival in Castres (near Toulouse) that I went to twice; he booked Paco Peña to teach the flamenco course, and it was this that gave Paco the idea of doing his own in Córdoba.

I thought that who it was as I remember reading about him and his support of the guitar. I wonder what other treasures are in the ina.fr vault.
