Ricardo; on "nails"? 
I saw a recent post with a reference to stuff posted in here by Ricardo on "nails".

Am interested to read this. . .

Did several 'searches' but nothing turned up?

The 'search' function only seems to go back one year. Maybe these posts were older?

Anyone point me in the right direction here?

Yes, you're right. And that's what puzzles me, also.

Must be something in the 'search' function that I'm not doing correctly? I've encountered this same problem before when trying to 'search'.

I go into SEARCH, type in "nails' by "Ricardo" and 'within one year' and voila!

"Nothing matches your search".

What am I missing here?

I did exactly that search and lots turned up ..the only thing i changed was ..check the box ''before one year '''

and VIOLA

"www.foroflamenco.com" is the site; "nails ricardo" is what you are looking for. You can bypass these search functions that always seem to be broken.

Well, I don't know what the hell I'm doing wrong here?

I just tried the same search again, and still get: "No records match your search".

Are we doing the same thing here?

I'm using the 'Advanced Search' function here on the Foro; and filling in the boxes for : Subject: 'nails' by Author : 'ricardo'. within 'one year'. And still getting the 'No records etc.' result.

I have not tried searching through Google. I would assume that the Foro's own 'search' function would be more accurate.

Are you guys using Google to do your searches?

My experience is that search engines built into forum software like this are NEVER the best thing to use if you really want to find something.

Google search is far more useful for ANY website, not just this one.

I typed "nails ricardo" in the search box at the top and got this. Is it not there?

For some reason, I was using the "Advanced Search' function, at the top right.

Still not quite sure why I got the "No records, etc." response, though?

However, not important. . .

In future I'll use the regular "search' box.

that is the difference ..looking in a span of time where the post does not exist ....

oh ..for a small tree i got a lot of apples ....and a wasp/insect attack later ..
i will prune a bit for shape and see how it goes next season or that is to say ...'within one year' or maybe 'before one year'... see it works for other things as well
