new to Flamenco

Hello everybody--its my first post here after lurking for a while. Could you share your opinions please. I want a Flamenco guitar upto about £400 ($600) any makers that you can think of that would have something decent, flamenco sounding, in that price range. I currently play and own a Ramirez SP so do have an idea what a decent guitar should feel like when played, its just the issue of getting the sound right----I hope I explianed that ok>? Kind regards Gary

Gary,

Welcome to the forum. By far the best value is the Yamaha CG171SF. Lots of people on this and other forums own and rave about them. I played one a year or so ago at Musican's Friend and was very impresed and all for 350 bucks or less.

There are some quite good Valderiano Bernals out there at a resonable price. Also Burget is worth trying. I love my Ricardo Sanez but I think this maker has since I bought mine.
