I'd say that this is exactly the kind of thing that Todd would do really well. I enjoyed the relaxed, direct and quietly virtuosic performance. Really simple arrangement for the most part with a great groove bring out loads of nuance
. I am sure Todd is working on a ton of stuff just now so why not just enjoy this and then whatever Todd chooses to share next as well ?

You're absolutely right. No way was I hoping that Todd would go off and work on this. The video brought him to mind, is all. I really enjoyed it - but then it's one of my all-time favourites. Glad you liked it.

Why are you so sure - where's the evidence? Have you been contacting him via PM?? I'm still waiting for his 200 bpm picado demonstration. All I've seen so far are a couple of pieces with some rather anemic scale runs. Not bad actually but a long way from what we were promised.
