Graf Martinez Cajon/Palmas Loops for...

Hi,
anybody tried these loops?

http://www.graf-martinez.com/flamenco-percusion/cajon-loops-for-garageband-ipad.html

If yes, what's your experience? I suppose it's possible to time stretch them in iPad's Garageband (i.e. the loops follow the tempo of the song if changed)?

Thanks!

Just my 2 cents..bought these some time ago
Useful if your recording/practicing with GarageBand
Be warned however that if you slow any loop down it sounds pretty damn bad...
The sounds aren't so great.. Artificial .. But ok for practice or composing

You can edit the sounds in garageband
pitch
attack and sustain [compression]
equalization

when exporting as mp3 they can have phasing issues..best to use only one cajon channel and 2 palmas [palmas panned each side]

which can improve the basic software sounds
I think he is now selling the software sounds which can be imported into the DM app so hoping this improves quality when altering tempos ...
Pretty easy to use.. Shifting things around etc..
Hoping this products develops to better quality as the idea is a winner.
Relatively inexpensive
.

Great review AlVal, short and to the point - exactly what I needed to hear. I'll probably give it a try as I use iPad for recording more and more these days.
Thank you!

Look into his new idea of buying the software sounds and importing them into the DM app... Might solve the tempo/sound issue
Just disappointed that things like palmas for solea, petenaras or tientos are'nt a sonic option
One positive is gerhard is a good communicator via email etc..
