Finally, first flamenco guitar finished!

I finally finished my first flamenco guitar. It took awhile to complete. Up until now, i have been building steel strings. The first of anything always takes longer when you have to tool up. It was a pleasure to build. I certainly appreciated all the info on the foro in regards to building. So now, on to the task of learning to play flamenco!
It was built from the plans for a Santos Hernandez
Top-Port orford cedar
b $ s- Monterey Cypress

Stephen,
The POC top sounds really nice. Nothing like WRCedar. It's actually a cypress and the tone is more toward a spruce IMO. I was influenced by Les Stansel, a builder on the west coast who uses POC. Also, the top seems to be opening up quickly, more so than what I see with spruce on steel strings. I need someone like your friend Jason to play it for a sound bite as I am a complete novice at flamenco!

Wayne, I've built many POC back and sides guitars...long story, but I've not used it for a top yet. I have a stash of backs handy they could be used as tops.

Congratulations, now you have a guitar to learn flamenco.

I have given away some guitars in the past, but I am enjoying playing this one so much that it won't be one of them. You're welcome to come and give it a test run to verify it is a real flamenco.
