For anyone to think that this is their list and everything must go their way or they find it impossible to stay and relate to a difference of opinion, is far from my understanding of how chat lists work. So I logged in again, just to reply to this one. TomB... Could you back and read my initial post and then compare it to what you wrote. If you do so, you´ll see that this was just a typical sentence from you. You always wrap the dirt you throw into "kind" words (my friend etc.). But in the end it is dirt what you just wrote. So thanks for comming out of the bush and show how you are and the way you act. Did I write that this was my list and that it had be the way I´m saying? Maybe I´m blind, but when I go back, I read this: "There are things going on here that I strongly dislike and which I cant accept. Its not my forum and its not me making the rules or saying where the limits are. This I accept and in order to respect that, I have to leave. At least for a while. " I think everyone who´s been here for a while knows that reason number 1 for me to leave is that I´m so tired of you. And since this is an open forum, I´m the one who has to leave. You are not breaking any rules, I just cant accept what you stand for, what you do and what you represent. And this means that I have to leave. Its ok. Its the rules of the game and I accept that. The whole energy is bad for me and its bad for the forum. This situation is only good for you, because it gives you the posibility to mention your oh so fantastic finetuning tecniques over and over again and to promote that you are the one talking MORE about that than anyone else. Its fine if it works for you, but you present the whole story as if you are the only one with the answers. You are the only one who knows all the forgotten secrets. Its pathetic and its been ruining an enormous amount of discussions during the last 5 years.

You are not breaking any rules, I just cant accept what you stand for, what you do and what you represent. And this means that I have to leave. Look, there is no reason to think this way, as all people have certain aspects of their career, building guitars, and that they choose to share with this list. I very seldom come on this list and talk about my current trends of building, etc. And this has it's own way of working things out if you just let it alone. I've been very personable with you in past dialog I have had concerning your work, or guitars in general. And I don't think you hate me, Anders, it's more like you hate yourself for being such an intolerant individual when it comes to me talking with 53 years of experience, and authority to question things I happen to disagree with...which is very seldom. So, quit acting like this and come back and face it like a man. If you can't do that, then here's the deal, I'll leave this list for 2 months and if I come back, I won't mention any of your work or even praise your work, which I have done recently. How's that?? So, what is it to be? Deprive this list of your ongoing expertise, due to a small upset with me, or continue to rule as the foremost contributor for the benefit of this list's members?

To John Shelton and Charles Vega. Your posts are absurd. You claim that if someone distubs you, you just let it pass and dont get involved. But here in this thread, you both start yelling even though it has nothing to do with the two of you. It doesnt make sense Re-read my post. I clearly made no such claim. Believe me, I've had more than my share of internet forum confrontations over the years. Like John Shelton, I will sometimes just ignore posts from certain people, including a couple of them who currently post on this forum. When I grow weary of it all I find it to be no problem to just stop logging in to that particular forum. End of story. No tears, no drama. I enjoy reading some (I certainly don't read them all) of the posts even if they are a bit ridiculous and/or childish at times and contributing when I feel that I have something to offer (and, on occasion, just to be a smartass) but leaving this or any other internet forum would have very little, if any, effect on my life. Get your heads out from where the sun doesn't shine, guys. There's a big, wide, wonderful world out there.
