I have a set of Pyramid Flamenco strings to try and rumours say that the maker might be the same. Rumours also say that those Mysterion strings last longer and have a very dark sound.. maybe thats where the mystery comes from.

The Pyramid Flamenco seem nice from a thickness standpoint

I would guess that by the description of them having a dark sound they might not be that good for flamenco.

Expensive strings to get good flamenco tone sounds like a paradox

ah ok sorry ,in the old message i dont understanded.

Now yes,i prefer strings with brillance.

But one guy who play classical, say to me,he play 6 months and the strings dont use,and he quit this strings because, for him too much brillance????

Ok he play classical.

Maybe you should try them and get your own opinion. I think people arent always refering to the same thing when they say things like "brilliance" or "metallic".

Now in SBM.

But be careful before the investissment!

I tried this strings, there are blue color....

The A broke 2 times,and one time just before a gig ...

keep esthetic and life long time(if i except the A broke) ,but dont sound flamenco.
use the frets and there are very very expensive.

there are too thin .

and not possible to play without vaseline .

Finally i dont recommend this strings ,for flamenco play.
excempt if you are very rich.

my review concerns only the bass
