Gorgeous Pedro Maldonado Sr 1a Blanc...

I'm looking to sell my 2009 Maldonado Sr 1a blanca. It is a concert level world class guitar made in Malaga, Spain. It has a beautiful fine-grain perfectly bookmatched and quarter-sawn spruce top, cypress back and sides with rosewood inlays, rosewood binding, cedar neck, ebony fingerboard, and mahogany heel. On par with Conde, Contreras, Ramirez in sound and workmanship (I have played guitars from all these makers on a large number of occasions). Quite loud with a very sweet sound. I would describe it as being of medium stiffness with an absolutely effortless neck profile, 650mm scale, and very low action that has not been adjusted since it left the Maldonado shop (there are videos of him and his son actually working on youtube).

No repairs or damage and nothing beyond very light wear from regular play. Comes with the black hard case pictured. I'm only selling to try out another luthier for a while as I can't afford more than one guitar like this at a time. I'm in NYC, if anyone is interested get in touch with me and we can arrange a trial. I have sold a handful of expensive electric guitars on eBay, although I thought I'd start here with this one, and can direct you to my eBay profile to review my feedback if you like. Condition is excellent. No repairs, damage, cracks, or anything else visible from more than a foot away. Just very minor wear from regular playing. Also it is a nitro polish but it is so thin you can still feel the grain with your fingertips.
