Shelton Ferrata Double Body Negra

Greetings All,
With the purchase of my new blanca i have a double body Shelton-Farretta Flamenco guitar, model 1980. Soundboard is cedar, inner body is rosewood, sides and back are cypress. Has repaired cleated crack (measures c.8 in) on the top on bass side near golpeador between bridge and side. I point to it in pic 10. There are also repaired cracks on the upper bass side bout. The cracks are cleated and stable. Ebony fingerboard, scalloped bone nut, wonderful tone, fantastic action.

Neck seems to have heel made of cedar. The ebony pegs work flawlessly. Two of the pegs are replacements: one doesn't have an abalone inlay dot. The other was replaced by the previous owner last summer, after the original peg snapped. This double body flamenco resonates. It is a real joy to play. but shows its age. nothing a good refinish couldnt fix.

Comes with new HSC that fits like a glove. Shipping to the US will be 75.00. I am asking $2000.00 US. I can accept paypal or wires. check the pics out here is a chance to own a real beauty.

Greetings Sir,
Not sure, the guitar is 33 years old. . What i can say is that the repairs are good. The person who i purchased it from took it to a luthier in New York and advised the cracks were cleated well and are stable. I can attest to the fact that the cracks have not gotten any longer since i have had the guitar and I live in a very dry climate here in the San Fernando Valley area of los angeles.

You should still mention the repaired cracks, imo. The refinish looks great and these double bodies sound awesome. I recently sold one.
