2007 José Ramírez FL2 for sale!
Hi Amigos,
My friend is selling his 2007 José Ramírez FL2 blanca. It's a very well balanced instrument, loud and crispy tone. It's the very same model that I've been using for years.
The FL2 has a 650mm scale length, 52mm nut width, spruce top, cypress back and sides, bone nut and ebony fingerboard. The bridge is rosewood and the finish is lacquer.
The guitar finish has two minor dents due to string break just under the bridge, otherwise the instrument is in perfect condition, the owner took very good care of it and played it regularly too, so it's opened up nicely. The action on the guitar is perfect, it's very easy to play.
The reason for selling is that my friend has been playing other kinds of music lately and wants an upgrade in that department, and selling his flamenco makes sense to fund that purchase.
Selling price is $2000 + postage, including case, a humidifier and a wooden capo.
You can check my videos at this link and I've recorded two new videos for reference:
and
There is also a video of Grisha Goryachev playing the same model:

Curiously, at 2:55 in the second video are you playing Chicuelo's accompaniment of Poveda on "Zaguan"? Do you have a transcription of that piece (or of the falsetas therein)?
I enjoyed listening to your "Ventana," by the way.

yeah it's the falseta from that soleá, but the accompaniment is by Juan Habichuela, he also plays it in his solo soleá called "Mi Luís" which is available from affedis
