Cool the thing looks as cool as it sounds! I like that the (evil) soundport is subtly down played by the darker color. Nice work.

Thanks Ricardo

I get your point about the port being less visual because of less contrast. I have been thinking about making the soundports on the lighter colored blancas in a lighter colored wood. Something just a little bit darker than the cypress. Maybe I´ll make one.

Actually, I like less contrast in many aspects. Also on Negras. Making a dark rosewood negra with medium brown bindings gives an instrument which in my eyes is lighter looking and more elegant. But there´s always different tastes. I have already received mails from aguy who didnt like the color of this orange guitar... Thats life.

This is the bracing I´ve used for the last 2 - 3 years. It looks like this (#106)

I don't think soundports are necessarily "evil." But I definitely like your approach to the visual aesthetic of the soundport. It makes the soundport look like a natural part of the guitar, as opposed to just something which was just the result of surgery. Very cool.

Oh I understand that...that's why he will have to now buy a yellow guitar from you to contrast. And perhaps a negra too.

Thanks machopicasso.
I´m not very fond of the plain hole in a side. it looks cheap. On the other hand, these inlayed ports are very difficult to make. Its the most difficult thing in the whole process of building the guitar.

A lovely Guitar Anders and as I pm,ed you before I would love to order one for my self some day . How long is it usually from commission to completion.?

The price your chargeing sounds very reasonable.

As for your own playing , nothing wrong with that , pity you cant find some time to play more, but we all understand that !

The waiting depends... Right now, it´ll be around 6 month, but its mainly because i will be away for a long time this summer.

My lack of playing is not because of lack of time. I have problems with my left hand middle finger and it starts hurting after 15 min. of playing.
Its not fun to play 15 min a day. Its like a slow announced death, so i dont play the guitar at all but I play the fiddle every day. It dont have problems with my fingers when I play the fiddle.

Wael, there´s not really anything to do. Doctors, know very little and the fisio has told me to stop playing the guitar for some time and see how it devellops. I should stop working as well, but thats not possible.
Right now its stable. But no flamenco guitar playing.

a person I know with similar issue has to play the mandolin because of this. Also if its in the joint I would maybe look at something anti inflammatory, maybe something natural like Shallaki(herbal capsules). Hopefully you will recover

Hi, I´m #104. The guitar that is for sale.
I´m bored... because this dude that built me never plays the guitar, so I´m just sitting there in my case doing nothing.
I have a small ding on the purling of the lower bout (soundboard), and if you contact the boring guy that built me, I think he will let me go to a better place with a good discount.
