RE: Guitarist's worst nightmare... (in reply to Miguel de Maria

Why is it indelicate? I took part in this consternation, but I´m not going to expect an interview with this guitarist what really woud be indelicate.

bernd: asking about his finger/body health and/or how he is coping with the loss would be appropriate but asking about his psychiatric condition ("is he mentally stable") seems rather odd.

Oh sorry. "mental" in German is not related to psychiatric matters.

Just out of curiosity, if your previous question, "Is he mentally stable?" does not refer to his psychiatric (or psychological) condition, what exactly does the question mean?

Psychiatric manners in German language are related to the range of desease whereat "mental" and "mental stable" is related to general well-being, like staying in focus on different subjects/themes that are not related to psychiatric or psychological manners. My question, "mentally stable" was meant to ask if he is on a good way for his general well-being.
