hello again

hi, coming back for a bit. zi was here as rickm several years ago. I suffered a accident a few years ago and lost most of the use of my right hand so I can only play rfeally simple stuff on the guitar. I cant do tabs or interpret by ear, but I have a bunch of faucher tabs in the basement that i really cant play anymore> I will provide a list if anyone wants them. If there is a young player wanting to learn they are yrs for postage. happy playing and keeping the art alive H&K

Welcome back and I'm sorry to hear about this accident putting a damper on your playing. I think you could unload those tabs pretty easily here, I'm interested myself.

i dont have a problem posting on here but I dont want to run into a problem being they are my faucher intellectual capital. besides I dont know how to post on here and then some of them are a bit long so it would take awhile to scan them in and post. If someone can advise the legality, that is certainly something to consider that way everyone can benefit.

that's a lovely act of generosity , good on you mate and i am sorry to hear of the accident

me i like to transcribe my own stuff as well

make them work for it, no one appreciate anything they get for free or anything they haven't worked for... perhaps a playing competition like who plays a falseta the best or something... its a wordy prize...look at our past challenges threads to familiarize yourself with the sort of challenges we did and how it worked

Work for it???? Who's ever gotten anywhere by working hard.........

I've never done any lawyering but it seems like if you sold the physical copies to people that would be legal but scanning and selling it to multiple people not legal.

I picture it like..............It's okay to sell your used cd's, it's not okay to rip them and sell the mp3's.......seems solid no?

RE: hello again (in reply to Leñador

lol well theres no suggestion they are scanned (not that i could see , unless i missed it)...he might have paid for them in which case sending it away to another guitarist is completely within his rights..

posting them here for more people to see thats probably infringing the copyrights

I just thought it might be nice to use this as fuel to some challenge to get people practicing hard

but if some of you have already put your hands up for them, i dont wanna mess with that...just a thought

i think that if you sell them for gain thats illegal. giving away Im not sure. anyway Ill provide a list as soon as I get them together and try and work out a fair exchange. I dont want to violate mr fauchers intellectual capital as I have already stated.

bear in mind its not a treasure trove, there is perhaps five total. Also its all old stuff so its probably been covered in the forums prior. How about I just send them to you florian and you can decide if they are worth distrubting and how. I will get a list together promise.

Maybe you can switch to a different instrument? The guitar is an accident of an instrument anyway.
