Manuel Rodriguez/Manual Adalid/HSL

I am looking to buy a Blanca or Negra in the 2-3k USD range.

I have narrowed it down to:

1. Manuel Norman Rodriguez Jr. Flamenco
2500USD....Hand made, signed label, not the generic one found at Guitar Center

2. Hermanos Sanchis Lopez 2f or 1f Blanca or Negra
2-3kUSD

3. Manuel Adalid Viviana - Blanca or Negra
2500kUSD

Any suggestions?

OR should I look out for a used 70's Ramirez 1a for around 3500USD

In 2009 I bought a Manuel Adalid Viviana blanca for US$2,500, and I think it is as good an instrument as exists for that price. It is light-weight, has a good set-up, and sounds muy flamenco. I went to Zavaleta's in Tucson, Arizona personally to see James Greenberg, the owner of Zavaleta's, and try out guitars. I was prepared to consider more expensive instruments, but the Manuel Adalid Vivana blanca was the best deal for the money.

Would you recommended spending 1-1.5k more on a used Ramirez 1a?

Haha I have one and if you have any possibility to get a Ramirez 1a, do it.
GREAT instruments in my opinion. All their guitars from between 1960 and ~ 1990 that I tried were great.

You should consider a Franciso Navarro Grand Concert as well - same price range as those you listed. I have a 2012 Navarro Concert Flamenco - it is awesome.
