Paco Pena in Washington, DC Friday, ...
For those who are interested and will be in the area, Paco Pena is performing on Friday, February 1, 2013, at George Mason University's Center for the Arts, located in Fairfax, Virginia, in the Washington, DC Metro area. I realize that Paco Pena is not "edgy" or "modern" enough for some tastes, but that is precisely why I like him so much. Of major flamenco guitarists performing today, he probably is the most "traditional." I saw him here a couple of years ago, and he put on a great show. Cheers, Bill

Just picked up my tickets for Paco Pena's performance on 1 February 2013, at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. The best seats are $46.00 each. Not bad for a first rate performer like Paco. According to the brochure, his performance is called "Flamenco Vivo," and it explores the development of flamenco from its most traditional to its modern iteration. Looks very good indeed! Cheers, Bill
