Telephone rings in background in CD ...

Hey guys!

I absolutely promote the music of Anton Jimenez. He is a phenomenal musician with very innovation compositions.

Just 5 min ago I sat in the office working out some report for my boss while listening to his CD "Meeting once again" on spotify.

I listen with new very good headphones and hear things..I never realized before.. anyway,..funny thing in his tune "Por la verea de los suenos" at 03:05min all of a sudden silently in the background...a telephone rings.. LOL!! :)))

I just wanted to share that finding..somehow hilarious!

cheers!

Doit

Yes sometimes you hear strange things in recordings. In one recording i think i heard a door being shut. There was one or two more things but i cant remember.
If its done intentional this reminds me of the movie Fight Club and those (alleged) frames of penises that directors put into the movies.

lol yeah I remember that movie..these pictures were even cut into the movie itself.

I also find hilarious because the studio-time is pretty expensive and they need to push themselves through the record pretty quick because...they normally can´t effort the studio-time... and then... a dork in the background forgets to switch off the cell....

There is the buzzing light tube in paseo de gracia. The same album features windows sounds coming from somewhere.

First of all, if you're now living in America, what the hell are you doing "in the office" on Labor Day? You're supposed to be in the backyard getting drunk and eating a hot dog.

Years ago a friend of mine ended up triggering the fire alarm at the store she worked at, which rang through the whole building. On the other side of the building some other friends were recording a record in an old theater. The alarm went of right as they were finishing a song and they ended up using that take because the alarm matched up well with the ending of the song and sounded kinda cool.

Hoewever, sound that won´t match will be the more irritating the more often the record will be auditioned.
I remember some "tiny" traffic noises that had slipped into tracks, which at first could have deemed tolerable, as subtle as they appeared.
But during repeaated listening in post work, comparable to consumers auditioning over time, your brain anticipates and magnifies yet the smallest alien noise and with that lessens the listening experience considerably.
Just mentioning what everyone knows anyway.

I listened to it on Spotify as well, and you don't really need any high definition speaker to hear the mobile phone or digital alarm ringing twice at 3:05 and 3:07.

Once you notice it, though, it becomes diffciult to take that track seriously, and it is not a fun Bulerias or jolly Rumba, but a sweetly romantic tune. As much as I appreciate production costs (which may have deterred Anton from redoing the piece) I feel that this mishap depreciates the value of the music.

Yeah, one night I was home alone and listening to Mozart with headphones. Then I heard someone. Since I lived in a city known for violent crime and home break-ins, it freaked me out for a moment. And then I realized it was just the conductor of the symphony humming along with the recording.
