Transcription-Soleares Falseta from ...

Hey guys,

I don't mean to give Conrad a run for his money because he is da man!! Here is a falseta I transcribed some time ago from the movie "Flamenco" by Carlos Saura. The falseta is a soleares by Ramón Amador. It is played in the part where he is accompanying Chocolate and Farruquito. I've also included the audio!!

It's pretty simple but very flamenco.

Enjoy.

Un saludo, Errol

Nicely done, brother. Muy Flamenco indeed. haha! :) Keep it up. Nice recording too.

What program do you use there? I'm always looking out for good music writing programs.

all the best,

Con

FG,

That's very cool. I've never seen the movie, but is there anything more to that piece, or is it just an intro to a scene?

Thanks guys for the comments. I hope the falseta comes in handy. I used Finale 2004 for the transcription and I used Calkwalk Guitar Tracks Pro 3 for the audio. I just got the audio program the other day so I'm still experimenting with the sounds and effects.

Un saludo, Errol

yesterday I watched the solea from the video again. What did you transcribe? In the video he plays this falseta very different. Did you transcribed the falseta from the saura CD? I think its different on the cd..but I cant remember clearely. I only heared it one time. But if you transcripted from the video I cant imagine why you transcribted it so different. ?

I did it from the CD. I know the DVD is different. There are some minor mistakes but it's the best I could do.

ah yes the cd version. Here I today watched it again and tabed the video-version of this falseta. Its different. You didnt transcribed wrong, he played different. Its good to know both versions of this puro flamenco falseta. Coz it gives new ideas of composing not too difficult good sounding falsetas in the same key I think. I didnt transcribed it especially for the forum. I like that falseta and so I save it with tabbing, coz I forget all very fast. (><) But I think some people could like it, so here it is.
(Its no correction, only the second version. I hope its no problem)

Video-version of the solea falseta:

Just stumbled on this thread - thanks so much Errol. That was an excellent recording! What kind of guitar is that? Is it the Pedro de Miguel?

--

Wait, what part of the DVD is it again? I don't know the figures by name, would anyone know what time it's at?

--

Nevermind, it's at 53:25
