Lower tension string recommendation 
I would like to try a lower tension string for one of my flamenco guitars to see if it would make it easier to play. It is a heavier guitar than my other two (which are extremely light). It has great sound, very sweet with a very long sustain. Definitely not a Siguiriyas guitar. I had the action lowered to match the other two (2.4mm) which helped quite a bit but for some reason it still plays a bit stiff and harder to fret, especially the trebles, so before I lower the action even more and run the risk of getting a buzz I thought I would try lower tension strings. I use regular tension Savarez Cantiga basses and Alliance KF trebles. La Bella 2001 Flamenco or D'Addario EJ45 don't sound as good on this guitar but work OK on the other two.
Any recommendations? It's time for my annual Strings by Mail order.

Hello
Try Hannabach Silver Med/Low tension basses. 900/200. I combine them with the Hannabach karbon trebles on one of my Blanca's.

You have to try some sets by yourself to see what is better for your guitar.

Ive been using aranjuez strings on my heavy guitar and they are pretty good and durable but the D string might break at the saddle. The trebles are great too if you find d'addarios too round sounding, these are snappy and bright.

with hannabach strings do not go by the verbal description rather use the numbers. their superlow tension strings are approximately the same overall tension as medium tension strings made by a few companies.

D'Addario , pro arte EJ43...

low tension , last well , inexpensive for a trail run ........

Thanks for the recommendations guys.
I've tried most of these in medium tension and was generally happy with the sound so feel OK giving the lower tensions a try.
Keith thanks for the heads up about Hannabach. I've tried their medium tension Flamenco 828 a few times and 2 out of the 3 they were great if somewhat expensive. The third time was like a different brand. Their web site gives the tension of their strings but I have no idea how their measurements compare to pounds.

as i recall from richard cyr, the founder of SBM, the rough equation is to take the figure then multiple by 1.01 then multiple by 2.2 to get pounds
