Crispy and mucho flamenco trebles. Basses are terrible! Normal size trebles for me are very thin. I prefer the superior tension.

both of my guitar teachers swear by Aquila strings, but my teachers also mostly play classical...one of them took a master class with segovia =D, you can tell segovia's ideals really impacted him...in that DON"T MIX FLAMENCO AND CLASSICAL That's just unheard of! omg! yeah they constantly say these strings will make a crap guitar sound great, but they use them on their concert guitars as well. i think they use a different model of strings though for basses and trebles....both are aquila

Ibanez, f Segovia. I didnt play anything else than flamenco and i use them all the time.

To cut it short they are the best treble strings out there.

I've used them. I liked them plenty. The trebles stayed on my guitar for almost 3 months, which is as long as I've ever kept any strings I think. One thing about the trebles is that they nick easily from your fingernails, kind of a lot, too. I've never noticed that with other strings. Also, the basses are worthless. They lasted 1 week before they were ready to snap at the frets, especially the 4th string. I don't hear anything very special about their sound either. I replaced them with Ej45 basses and all was well.

Every time I place an order with Strings By Mail I always pick up one set of strings that I have never tried. These were on back order from a few weeks ago and I got them in the mail yesterday.

I put them on last night and So far my opinion of them is pretty low. Basses have already started becoming lifeless, also the bases feel funny to me. Even though they are superior tension they feel really small to me. I don't get the bass response I got from J46C or clarity of trebles I got from the Luthier White Nylon, which was the last combination of strings I had on this guitar.

I didn't go crazy over the trebles, myself... For some reason the G and E sound good and bright, but the B is quite bland. As Juan said, they do seem to nick easily. I dig in for all I'm worth, and after an hour of playing they have become pretty rough. In short, I won't order them again. If I ever did I would get superior bases and normal tension trebles. Maybe the normal tension trebles would work better for me as far as balance. I was pretty disappointed all in all.

Of many strings I have tried, these are the worse.
