Ikeeptime app

This app has a metronome and you tap along on your Ipad to test yourself. There is a big dial which tells you whether you are rushing or dragging. According to the app, I usually slightly rush, even though I feel I am hitting it on time. There are options which will drop measuresor beats and in which you must continue to tap time.

Thanks for this Miguel.

I tried it too and I also seem to be slightly ahead of the beat. It seems really accurate.
Do you trust it ? Have you found a way to improve ?
It quite addictive, anyone else tried it ?

If you have it on your ipad, you might try reducing it to IPhone size. Also try tapping harder.

I think it definitely reveals problems in my timing and the drop out feature is really useful as that really shows how good you are at keeping time.

I just wonder about the overall accuracy and the latency of these touch screen things.
Could this thing actually be training you to play ahead of the beat ?

It gets some flak here but I don't know how you would test it at that level..
