Kudo.....(I looked it up for you ..........)...........

para formalizar su relación con Casilda Varela tras ocho años de noviazgo y, pese a la oposición familiar, se casaron en Amsterdam en enero de 1977; desde entonces han permanecido unidos junto a sus tres hijos, Casilda (1978), Lucía (1979) y Curro (1983).

So Casilda Varela was his girlfriend for 8 years , then they got married in Amsterdam , January 1977,( against the family wishes) ....anyway ....3 children ....
............so there you go Casilda (1978), Lucía (1979) y Curro (1983).


I am just reading an interesting artical about his life ..............

so the tanguillos Casilda was dedicated to his gf or daughter ?
apparently the rondeña Mi Niño Curro was dedicated to his son
and then there is a Seguiriyas called luzia was it for his mom or his daughter ?

I think he;s been married twice?
Or divorced with other partner now..

Anyway he had his little girl (maybe 4 or 5 years old) on tour with him 5 years ago or so.

Dunno.

Just a thought...would you allow Paco de Lucia to autograph your child...lol

I havent found that out yet , there is a LOT to read , but i have came to the bit about another daughter called Antonia..and he has a

Found it ........his mother.......
aquí la seguiriya "Luzia", dedicada a su madre.

Es a partir de 4:25: cuando Paco empieza a cantar.

"Las cuerdas de mi guitarra están llorando, lloran por seguiriyas, por mi mare, por mi Luzia"

and thats where his stage name came from
Paco de Lucía in honor of his Portuguese mother, Luzia Gomes.


I never knew his Mama was Portuguese ....hope for me at last ...???

...Con ellos grabó Luzía (1998), en homenaje a su madre, que acababa de fallecer...

The Seguiriyas Luzia were dedicated to his mom :)
