Salvador Castillo Blanca 4 Sale

2007 Salvador Castillo Peghead 660 Scale, European Spruce & Spanish/Mediterranean Cypress. Below is a link to Eduardo Trassierra playing this particular guitar. I will do a video of myself playing it and upload later this week. Give me email and I can send pics.

$2,000.00 plus shipping for his top of the line Blanca. The price is set in stone. I don't do the 2 weeks later lower price kind of thing.

Action is 2.9mm on bass side and 2.6mm on treble. Powerful but traditional Sounding Instrument. Percussive but a sweet singing treble to my ear. It's almost pristine. Absolutely no repairs or cracks, some nail marks around the golpeador, and 1 or 2 other very little nail marks on the top.

Why am I selling? Since I have sold all my other guitars and have only bought/owned Salvador Castillo only for the past 5 years the only reason for selling such a sweet gem is I need some money. That's what can happen when you are a musician and married with 2 beautiful daughters.

That is one of my all time fav video with Eduardo and a Castillo!!!

Playing Castillo's blanca I feel like driving a VERY powerful racing car. It has so much Power, and the sound goes under Your skin! brrrr-shiver

Hey Chapman_G, I too am tempted here. I'll be getting my 2nd Castillo tomorrow or Thursday, (a negra). Would you mind saying what the number of this guitar is? I have 239 which is from early 2008, and have been on the lookout for the guitars made just before and after mine.

Number 216. Tell me how you like his Negra. I ordered one of his Negras, but in my opinion it was not nearly as good as the 6 or so Blancas that have passed through my hands. Maybe, I just did not get a good one. It cost me more that the blancas but I ended up selling it to a student for $800.00.

you gotta be joking me!! I Played 2 of his negras! (I own 1 of them) and they are different, but beautiful too! if you received the latest castillo newsletter by email, you should see a review of Negra vs blanca by me with video comparison. anyway at the end its personal preference

shawn, you seem to be rich to own so many high end guitars and keep on buying and selling!

I will check out your review. Well like I said maybe I just did not get a good one, but why it puzzled me is that after playing 6 of his blancas - all I thought were great guitars, and the one and only negra I got was not in my opinion.

I don't really know. I brought him here to Pittsburgh to do a concert. He is based in Seville and he said he does Skype lessons. I think he is on Facebook - search for him and send him a message, he is very cool and easy going.

Seriously, I don't know if I can sell this guitar. Anybody want to send me $2000.00 plus shipping for the guitar and then on August 1st I will send them $2400.00 plus shipping and they send me back the guitar? Ha. What better place than a forum to think out loud.

What I'm trippin' on is that people aren't all over this sale, and the fact that you are willing to sell it in the first place! If I hadn't ordered a negra, (which came and I do love it), and if I didn't have to write the IRS a check for $3900, (self employment sucks), I would have already had this thing in my hands! Are you serious about buying it back in August? If that's the case me or someone needs to step up and take this incentive to do the right thing! After all this guitar has balls! Come on now people!!! You have heard this guitar, so what's wrong with us all? Don't make me buy this thing now... With one more of these I will be declared a "Castillo hoarder"...

Yes, that's it performed with it last night, and on top of that I got to listen to Maestro Ricardo playing it. I'm in some financial hot water and The Loan Sharks are going to take my legs. I don't know what I'm going to do but I am officially rescinding the Sale Offer. Sorry to waste your time guys.
