I found this video of Enrique playing a nice "Colombianas". He was such a great player.

I agree that Enrique was a great player, but this kind of flamenco is not my taste. I just think its horrible.

He prefers the part where they "ida" but they don't "vuelta" back.

I have nothing against ida y vuelta and in fact my last 2 uploads have been columbianas and rumba.
But here we have electric bass and that annoying flute. All arranged in that horrible 70 style flamenco that Paco started. Sanlucar has a whole CD like that and I just dont like it.
Its not that I´m a traditionalist, but exactly that style........

Ill have to agree with Anders here . I like colombianas, but the sound and style they are portrating is not my favourite.

He managed to still keep it tastefull, but I would not like to hear any of the new guys going for this sound. I think its a child of its own time

and Enrique is one of my favourite players, it was so sad to lose him.

Yeah, I like my guitars' sound when they're drier... unfortunately I've let them get some cracks.
