Ramzi you're a blessing to the Arab world !

seriously man that's so generous, I am pretty sure you can use the time you're spending on these lessons in something more fun to yourself but you chose to help others and yet I think you are not getting a decent appreciation from Arabs ... well that's something special and I really respect and appreciate your efforts

two days ago a friend of mine who is learning flamenco called "Khaldoon" called me saying I found a badass flamenco player who has a bunch of tutorials and a very cool buleria (that he wanted to learn)
surprisingly after I checked the video he was referring to you that was a cool coincidence .. I was like I know him ... you're getting famous man

Thanks so much, Elie! I'm glad. I really get the most pleasure in this world out of helping others.

Kudo - there are. I know a couple of Lebanese (women), and one Syrian (man). They are not Belen Mayas / Farruquitos (meaning not super duper professional), but some are getting there.

Ramzi,
fantastic what you are doin!

I have a few questions though since I am not that aware of the arabic culture.

Is the English language not that spread as I am thinking it is?
Are the subscribers to your channel only native arabic speaking?
If not, why not expand your audience and do it in english?

I personally think that 99% of the males who are between ages 6-50 yrs old speak English in the mid-east. I think there is more men than women between the ages of 35-60 who speak english.
it is very unlikely that the person who would be watching/learning ramzi's videos doesnt know english (because the current generation males/females all know english)

however the question is, how good is their english? I would say for most people, its AT LEAST good enough to understand well, because a lot of them have problems speaking and writing (usually very bad grammar)

I know I should not be generalizing, but the reality of the current generation today in the mid-east is that they try their best to "westernize" themselves and to take on the western culture/traditions/values, because they think "its the modern thing to do" kind of thing!
INFACT, if you listen to people speaking there, you will see that they throw in a lot of english words in between arabic words, to the point that people call it "arabzi" language which comes from ( arabei (arabic) + englizi (english) ), some do it because they want to show off (by saying, hey look ,I can speak english: when in reality they cant put a proper English sentence together with correct grammar).
that arabzi is mostly popular around lebanon and egypt region, people say that it started in lebanon, but I dont know where it started from...and its least heard among those who are from the rich gulf regions

anyway, what ramzi does, in whatever language, he is great and his stuff is great!
