What key are you playing colombianas in? I guess A is the most common but D is also very common. Because it's a major key standard music theory works pretty well, e.g. the scale harmonised in 7th chords will give you a basic set of chords that are part of that key. So if you were playing in A, you have A Maj7, Bm7, C#m7, D Maj7, E7, F#m7, G#m7b5. Also listen to other things in that key (if you are playing in A, then any alegrias in A or guajiras).

G#m7b5.....make sure to try your superlocrian over that Rumbaking....Dm13 is great with F lydian dominant scale, so long as you return to A ionian, also colombianas love Shakira and agua ardiente....hope that helps.

Just google "colombiana fingerings" and choose images, you'll get some nice diagrams that will spice up your.. whatever

i solved the problem with an intensive whole week lessons and transcriptions that costed me a lot
