RE: Dump Puppies (in reply to Ruphus

Guys, you got me blush!
Makes me due to mention all the mistakings I am occupied with day in day out; and having said that ... I have to admit that it feels really nice to be spoiled from time to time.

Hey ya, Escribano!
Yes, it´s the new camera, and that astonishing piece of a lens.
After arrival, I told my cousin ( who is so tired of the communication combine that is his employer, for its mismanagement, bonehead reign, waste and inefficiency ) that it should be really a revealation to see the way how Canon must have refined their team work. Not just the innovation, but functional quality, and intuitive layout are about as perfect as it gets. Fantastic output!

Your idea with the photobook sounds really great. Never thought of anything thelike, but would sure love to see what happens. Maybe the photobook niche ain´t as overrun as literature yet. (?)
( Got an email yesteday that confirmed my first novell book accounting periods bill. Someone in US must have bought my book.
The emphasis is on "one" item; you got that right. hehehe )

Anyway, would I certainly feel honoured to see thelike planted and buffed with your kind help, muchacho. :O)

Thanks a bunch for your appreciation and wishes, Malakka. :O)

To U2, Sean!

Just your fellow, Ron, nothing more; and it is clear like bouillon to me that we would have some entertaining time, if only under control of two bar stools in a pub. - Or with just a selters on the way to somewhere, vibes are all that matters.
I hope you are sailing along well, man.

Ho Chester! Duke looks like a very kind spirit. I once befriended with a pit bull. So strong, so mild and cuddly.

Thank you, Elie!

Here is what happened since yesterday.
Things might sound as if I was exaggerating, but it has happened this way.

Brought Charlie home, cleaned the yard, planning to prepare dinner, feed and treat the kritters and go to sleep.
After the finding that the puppies had too little of minerals in their blood, I was going to prepare power food when I passed Charlie who has a separate camp for the time being. When I saw him suddenly hyperventilating, starting to flicker and tremble in spasm.
I swear he was right about to cross the river. I panicked. First thought: Water. He pressed his jaws, but I filled some in despite. ( Doc says, must have been an epileptic attack.)When opening his mouth I realized that temperatures were hot as hell in there.
Talking to him. Encouraging first, then asking for him to stay; then begging. It seemd like he just wanted to drop away. His head in my hand, and in the midst of my bubbling he´d try to open his eyes, but they would twist away; with not much more than the white of the eye to be seen.
Me whimpering, begging him to not leave me.
It is that you just want him to understand your stutter, chances to or not.

Then, suddenly his head with all of its weight sank into my hand, his eyes opening and looking up straight into mine. And I fancied as if he was sending sort of a reluctant "OK ..."
After maybe 20 minutes it felt as if I could leave him alone for a moment without him falling back into nowhere land. Jumped and grabbed the antibiotikum. He´d try to spill, with his mouth kept close by me though.
Half an hour later followed with water. Next some ice packs, which he figured himself how to employ best, leaning head and upper thorax against it.
Again, one hour later he would gather up and tumble away for to bring up. Luckily, most of the drug seemd to have been absorbed already. He spilled more times and next morning in the car again. After some hours his breathing had returned to almost normal, and tiny signs of recovery were to be observed. Ears raised a miniscule bit. Frontlegs stretched out later on, and at dawn even the rear ones. Me sitting beside him until the ride to the vet.

Hardly sleeping, just dozing, he´d raise his head from time to time looking determined at where my eyes supposed to park. Almost as if it meant: "Is it the way you wanted?" Then doze again.
It felt as if he was there just because of a favour to me, and maybe not delighted about the prevented trip himself.

Full stop.

The dried out agony with the infusion needle in its arm in the bloody image is Charlie, ... *Rest deleted by overtired author* ( 48 hours, lots of coffee )
The picture intentionally bland taken.

Dogs are very good at mending themselves. Maybe drop all the medication, if it isn't antibiotic? Plenty of chicken and rice, some water to drink and rest. Hang in there Charlie.

He won´t even touch water.
How could I make him take in?
( I fear his inner organs to have been damaged already. He migth weigh 1/4 of what he used to. 6 days with just one dextrose infusion.)

Please, please let me know if there´s a way!

What can´t be seen in the picture is how steep actually his stomach falls in behind the lower rip cage.

It is crazy how he keeps going that way at all, I fear the worst every time I am looking after him. He is incredibly tough.

I can call my vet but without knowing what he might have eaten etc, it will be hard. Can you give me a run down of his recent history and symptoms in an easy to read list?

At times we've had success here by using a plastic syringe (without the needle) and squirting sweetened milk into the dogs mouth.

RE: Dump Puppies (in reply to Ruphus

He had swallowed stones.
The operation revealed testines alright, but there seemed no way to give him water.

Due to my stupidity, that can be some unbelievable brick all too often.
The doc had prescribed the use of plastic syringes in the beginning. As the last ones I had once used to feed my cat, had been of bad quality which would be making it impossible to dose, hence squirting into the windpipe, I dismissed the syringes, searching for pipettes.
For local pharmacies being under stuffed as usually, we couldn´t find pipettes anywhere in the town.

Thus I had retreated to using plastic cups, and was filling in much too much with the poor guy refusing just the more to drink, until finally dreading my dumb approaches.
Now, while waiting for your replies I fed the search mashine in another way than before, and came about a similar case, where someone mentioned that it should never be more than 100 ml at once ( for adult dogs ).
Now newly inspired I ran for the syringes and it turned out that the given make works totally smoothly.

I have now been giving him small measures of about 3 ml, each time waiting quite a while before giving the next portion.
And damn, it worked!
Have given him about 25 ml by now, gave him a break and will be continueing.

Man, he was about to die of thirst, because of my dumbness!
-

Yoh, Escribano; if you could kindly ask your vet anyway in case of any useful hintsides, I would be really greatful!
( The vet here meant no problem with a urin-soaked bandage at the infusion needle. Probably too careless?
Also: Is it normal how Charlie has been peeing right away during each infusion, - and partially vomitting too-?)

Thank you too, Turner!

Dig your guys help a lot,

Hey Ruphus,

Man i hope the little guy pulls through. I googled in search of any info i could find for you. Without having enough knowledge, it's hard to know what could be helpful.

I did come across some posts mentioning that water combined with certain medications can taste awful to dog's and alternative flavored rehydrating fluids can sometimes have better results.

Thank you so much, my friend! :O)

Today things look better. Charlie is much more present and Dubie was even up and ran to me to get her cuddling. Only Hermann seems pretty down.
The doc is supposed to arrive any minute now.

RE: Dump Puppies (in reply to Ruphus

These days with death knocking at babie´s doors have been a bit too much for the rowdies and me.
Phew!

Hermann ist still on the way down, towards empty gaze. Dubie is doing relatively well, eating and cuddling, whilst Susie has joined the sick now.

Charlie can´t be convinced of food yet, but is more awake, and less of a dry skin over sceleton. He´s had another bottle of dextrose solution infused, and I´m complementing him with filled chicken broth.
The vet says his inner organs won´t have suffered.
Fortunately.

The external puppy is doing alright and I´m back to feeding her until she´ll be looking propper again. Also saw the mother dog in daylight today, and she looked in good shape.

We burried the three deads today and covered them with lime.
I was amazed by their size. They were some real chunks, almost twice as big as the internals.
This has made me reconsider whether my fed diet of cooked oat with chicken, meat and rape oil was to be really such an optimal recipe.
Granted, nothing can beat the almost pure meat diet the mother was feeding through her prey, but there must be a solution in between.
Guess, adding potatos, vegetables and herbs could be a good idea, themore as the internals showed to be lacking on minerals ( which again must have been vastly accounting for the hazardous stone eating habit).

Now, with anticipation of recovery the situation and my condition have improved considerably.

As drastic lecture this incident screens the threat of stones to puppies.
It makes you wonder how such issue is not being a standard truism in the dog keeper world. No stones on puppy´s ground.

The other lesson rather serves as a reminder: If yours truely put something I tend to do it thoroughly, and that includes daily dumbness.
That´s when you stand beside yourself, or after the fact, shaking your head in disbelieve. That unsafe ox is I, indeed.

Moo ,

My vet says keep Charlie warm and hydrated. Minced chicken and rice if he wants to eat, but no milk. Difficult to recommend anything else without examining him.

RE: Dump Puppies (in reply to Ruphus

Thank you very much, Escribano.
Milk was what the vet was recommending yesterday, and when I replied that milk was no good for dogs and cats he wouldn´t believe.

The ups and downs of hope and despair won´t take an end.
This morning Charlie greated me sitting and with his little tail lively wagging, what a sight!
But then I saw his red dropping some meters away.

What followed in the six hours on the way and at the vet was thrown up stomach slime all over places, and Hermann´s blood and pieces of intestine tissue coming out of his rear all the time.

I would doze off while overseeing infusion session, keeping their limbs right for blood circulation, and persistently swishing away oodles of nasty liquids. It´s exhausting.
Decided to take meds and infusion stuff with me, hopefully lasting for three days. These horrible trips to the doc are no good for any of us.
On return Dubie showed in zombie status too.

Should four month of continuous struggle all have been for nothing? Will the little rascals make it through? I am unsettled and emotionally bankrupt to boot.

They are so enchanting. The people at the vet would stop at our room, looking at Charlie & Hermann ecstaticly like: "How sweet are these!"

Men wouldn´t had evolved as we´ve done genetically without sequences of virus DNA as glue, but why the hell had some of these microbes have to become so vicious?

With home grown puppies and timely vaccination this would probably have been prevented, but under the given circumstances ...
A friend of mine asked the doc sort of like: "Why did these get so sick; after all stray dogs do grow up all the time without such malady"?
Answer: "Where do you know from? You see them once and then not again".

In fact I had uttered something similar to him before. One living and adult stray animal stands for countless who havn´t made it.
One would much rather realize it if the bodies were laying around, but the road cleaning here is one of the most engaged and organized undertakings.

Below a cell phone pic from today.

PS:
Right after above post I heard that something hit the stone structure of the building.
It must have been Charlies poor head. the little fellow had climbed up the stairs in the dark and was before the door.
Splattered a bit with Hermann´s sufferings.

I wouldn´t expect Charlie to have taken the straining climb to follow me as his relentless molester of these days.
Me rather has a feeling as if he, though initially happy to see Herman join the "quarantine" camp ( and licking him up ) might have sensed that Hermann is leaking highly infectious stuff / been escaping. ( The vet thinks Hermann wouldn´t be reinfective for Charlie, but I am not convinced.)
Anyway, did I make him a new bed a couple of meters away, placed him there and he stayed immediately and voluntarily.

- As mentioned, these guys quite seem of amazing sense.

Sorry its been so long since I picked op on this thread - normally don't tread too far from the luthiers stuff and computer has been doing some wierd stuff to stop me from replying?

But...My heart is with you - I have two young dogs now as my last two old guys have passed away... I was heartbroken. They were great dogs 15 and 16 years old, very hard for me to watch them go - would have felt the same at 15 and 16 months.

Hope all turns out well for you and the little guys - my thoughts are with you all.

RE: Dump Puppies (in reply to Ruphus

In order to not spoil the foro all too much with bump ups, I have noted down the last days offline.

10th of April

Your twisted fingers worked better than anyone could had thought. :O)

Hermann looks so terrible ...

Not a bit of meat left over even in his face. All scull and skin.
When I woke up this morning by Charlie´s whimper, I thought to find Hermann liveless.
And that´s how it looked indeed in the way he was laying before the stairs, but then I realized a slight breathing and he raised his head, looking at me with his now so tiny eyes.

First thing, grabbing the bucket and floorcloth to remove what appears like more bloody intestine parts than in the days before, ain´t exactly how you like to start a day.
But to be greated by Charlie first time teeming around your legs with his waving tail moving the whole of his skinny appearance, that is what I would had hardly dared dreaming of until two days ago. :O)
He tried leading me to the door, wishing to leave the "intensive care unit" and meet his sisters in the yard.
While I was wiping up he would stand before the door so still with his head hanging down. Poor little cuty. But he never ever complains. And so I saw him turn around after a while and lollop back to his bed.
I could give my left arm for him. Or wait, that one I need for guitar playing, better take a leg. ;O)

Guess I could manage his demand with chicken broth orally now. And he might join the yard crew.
- Alright, vet says "no". The patient must first be back to regular eating.

The sisters are nearly back to order.
The power food stays almost untouched, but Susie loves the chicken broth and Dubie otherwise not wanting more than 10-15 ml takes at least twice as much only for to not be all to surpassed by underdoggy Susie, hehe.
I have also been able to feed a little bit of minced chicken and rice to them. Can´t be too far from having them accepting it with rice too.

Dubie is experiencing a special lesson currently. The one Little Feat described so well in their lyrics of On Your Way Down.
"It's high time that you found
The same dudes you misuse on your way up
You might meet up
On your way down"

Not really that dramatically; and Dubie still is predominant; but Susie jumps circles around her, has loudly taken over the yard defence, the day scheduling and takes her place on the blanket even before the sister. She also pushes Dubie slightly to the side at the bowl.
Guess that she can´t, but it would be something if her Grand dame could learn something of the new temporary perspective.

In the evening:
Dubie has had a relapse. Possibly through a bit of harm though.
She jumped almost chest high to welcome me in the afternoon whilst her forlegs weren´t up to the task yet, however. On landing she couldn´t hold her weight and smashed sideways with her thorax so hard on the damn concrete floor.
It might have irritated her just recovering inner organs. Her appetite has taken a backseat anyway. Suppose, she´ll be better again tomorrow.
- Am just hearing them making their "lion noises" as they do when playing. So things are fine!

Infusion has become kind of routine. The guys know that they should keep their foreleg straight during the long hours of procedure.
It has happened that Charlie would deliberately extend back the moment I was leaning forward to look at the infusion dropper.
Hermann is well enough to grumble about his pain like a bumblebee.
Though, as he was fully covered with tough slime, washed after last trip, he had returned to the sow look. After Charlie came over to his bed now, Hermann suddenly looks almost like a dog again. Suppose Charlie licked him clean. - Hopefully with no repercussions.

With Hermann I am looking at a completely different face and with such optical appearing you inevitably tend to assume a correspondingly sullen character. But then you realize: Its still him behind that horror mask, the unsuspecting big baby.
All that´s changed is his astonishment throughout while his shrunken wet eyes glimpse around. Clearly he wonders about what´s up with all this. Why the sudden changing, his new odeur of death, the pain, and even more strange sensations like rejection of food.

What he seems to know though is that the pesky mess, from the awful meds to me sneaking around all the time injecting him vitamine A ´n stuff, ought to be connected to his recovery.
I have no idea how animals comprehend such opaque and long-term unrolled circumstance, but they do.

Gotta creep down, crumple some lobes. :O)

PS:
The man who wanted two, inquired again. Will give away only after full recovery, naturally, and after having inspected his lot and the guardsman living there. ( Expectation: Low.)

11th of April 2012

Todays is an outstandingly beautiful day in every respect.
Woke up by Charlies calm sound. Heard him also right before the door. Yet, a bit concerned about possible bad news on Hermann I took only a cat wash ( as we call a short stay in the bathroom in German) to slip out the door fast enough.
With that the noise of a little fluffy hopping up the stairs was to be heard; Charlie reaching upstairs in a minute and even Hermann coming half the way up to the first platform.
Charlie greating me as if we hadn´t met for years. Both of us mewing of delight. :O)
Hermann watching us through his tiny eyes, tail wagging like an old man before his creamy birthday cake with a vamp coming out of the top. There were also no big blood puddles of his today, only two small ones.
Charlie didn´t take any more of chicken brew than in the past days, but when I released him into the yard he started nibbling on the power food. Also when I brought out minced chicken & rice.
This has been the benchmark. I released him from the "quarantine".

Curiously, he now eats more than Dubie, who stupidly has returned to chewing sticks, rather than food. Sticks and stones though are no good. Can´t remove them completely, and if I managed to, Susie would just dig out stones again, which she loves doing anyway.

The vet, already been asked to come over this afternoon in order to remove the infusion needles and set up new ones on the other foreleg, hence shall only treat Hermann.
-

Charlie apparently felt as if re-manifesting his position. First thing was to go on poor Hermann who´d take it stoic, secondly on Dubie when released into the yard. She conquered right away. That´s just how it´s got to be with a pack when the chief returns.

Hermann trots behind me as much as he can, wobbly but okey-dokey. He even slipped through the door into the yard and took a long and thorough drink ( whereas so far not having touched the bowl in the garage). The girls seemed rather unedifying about him. Probably because of his smell. I exchanged the drinking water right afterwards.
Can´t wait to wash him in the coming days.

-

It has been like perfectly arranged today. All that regeneration and even the trees in the garden, sprout so nicely as if they were celebrating with us.

In the evening:
It´s the first T-shirt night this year.

The vet was here in the afternoon. He has shown to be one of an extremely small number who turned out to have ideals.

After the night when Charlie had been about to switch shores, I was telling the doc how it appeared as if the doggy had decided to stay just for my beggings. The homely man then looked at me with a mild smile and replied: "That´s what you fancied". Days later he told a friend of mine: "We regard these animals as dead and only do not mention, because of the Mr."

His opinion has meanwhile changed into reverse, though.
When he came in today, knowing of my generally earthly stand, he asked: "You are golden now, hm? ... So have you come to believe in miracles finally?"
I say: "Why?"
He: "We only have humane medication available here, no special drugs for animals. And this disease was extreme.
That the dogs survived has been only for you. They made it through because of the fact that you have been all with them. They felt it".

When on the way out he didn´t want to take the fees. And when I insisted, he named 2/3 of what just the driving out costs.
Only reluctingly did he take the actual amount. He said to be inspired and that he wanted to take part; which he however has done already anyway.
The expenses for his help so far must have been around 600 bucks or so. One of his colleague ( who won´t even do house visits ) in the same town - with a nice big shop where you can buy things like choke chairs -, for pretty certain would have charged almost triple of that.
And hey, I´ve been occupying one of his two rooms from morning to late afternoon / evening each time.

Here am I, one of the happiest campers under the hemisphere for a change. :O)
For another beautiful proof of spirituality.
It can be lived and died in an empty bubble. But the minute a creature, whether men or beast, will only be having a chance to appreciate and to be appreciated it will be a spiritual being with ambition and vibe.

The reason why we used to, and in major parts of the world are still, under estimating fellow men and fellow creature is because they are given no chance to unfold.

While not wanting to sound as if I was treating things perfect, which is not the case:
During research on dog deseases I came accross threads that revealed two different keeper parties, the majority who is convinced that dogs need strictness to obey, and the others who believe that it can be had with attachment.

I don´t know exactly yet whether the latter can be done. But what I know is that so far this gang appears to be managable far beyound of what is generally expected at such age. Out to deliberately please they do what I want the minute they have a grasp of it, which again is usually faster setting in than common at an age of just about four months.
( For instance right now, Dubie was once again barking at the gate, when I called her name from where I sit: "Dubie! No!" with her silent returning to the blanket. Great, innit? - You only got to watch out to not repeat the urging. Otherwise a continued calling could be taken for joining the howl / intensifying.)

In the way they behave I could even imagine to make them friends with Igor. Yet, if the trial might delay even further until they be 5 or 6 months old. ( Just heard from someone how he had his 7 month old dog accept a cat; but I am wishing for not just toleration, but friendship. - At the extreme best like with that one cat on my cousin´s Russian datsha, that used to be the remarkable head of another tomcat and three dogs. Two German shepherds and a pudel. The cat had just beaten up the neighbour´s dreaded dog badly when he was trying to attack one of the spepherds. The cat was even sneaking up on me as a stranger, ready to attack, until I stopped playing with the excited, yelping shepherd and kneed down to show my good intentions to the catty. - Who then let himself be stroked and left again. What a brave cat.)

Igor is my 15 year old cat. If I would start on describing how he is going out of his way for me, it would probably take typing all night - and boring you to death, hehe.
He´s not even showing signs of jealousy, despite of my intensive focus on other pets, lasting since months now.
-

Just been down to feed. These guys are exploding almost hourly. Susie already looks too opulent with the vast of the portion in her stomach. ( The other two are already back to mobbing her. The fact that Susie is now being the biggest and strongest seems to not matter at all.)
Dubie is almost back to normal outline with only little missing at the hip. Charlie is still small and skinny, but almost fully back with his doll face, and Hermann not only made his first surprising jump up to my waiste, but even just picked up a fraction of a teaspoon full of rice. ( All three - except of Susie - appeared as if they had to relearn how to eat, with the first meal. Awkwardly and extremely slowly chewing with exaggerated, uncoordinated moves of jaws and loud smack.) His eyes are clear now with the white of it really white again.
They will all make it! Yippee-ki-yay!

And am I believing in wonders now? Not as much as in Steve Wonder.
But nature certainly is more than fascinating enough to appear like quite some wonder.

It provides particles that will connect and over a course of millions of years produce fantastic things. Complex living beings like an unselfish monkey who in an experiment will reward a mate with 3 of 5 nuts in exchange for passing over from neighbouring cabin a stone as cracking tool. Selfish crows on the amusing contrary that will distract mates on wrong spots, so that they can sneak back to the right spot and pick up a secret meal. Further, providing creatures that will love, defend each other, moan for their mates ...
And where men is detouched from nature there will be humans too blunt to allow and see thelike around. That and inevitably in the same time the condition of their people.

For, if perception of a dependant, helpless and speachless creature can´t make a person feel, nothing actually can.
There really exists no selectable on/ off switch for empathy.
Animals, with their foreigness and basically differing communication are the ideal teacher and verifyer for humane emotions. More so even completing in that respect than fellow aids like people of differing sets like say odds, elderlies, small children or handicapped.

Forgive me the sermon sounding appendix, but as a small kid I had the feeling that difficulties where there only because of unconveyed things - yeah, very trivial ones on first sight -, and somehow that feeling won´t let go on me. Call me naive; it´s alright.
You know what I´m talking about anyway. Otherwise you wouldn´t be following the story of the stray family.

BTW, did I mention one of the fathers? A big guy who shows up every other time. He goes pretty rough on them, hence triggering a big concert of hate shouting. The mother seems to love him dearly though, jumping around the male like a calf.
His rough being must be necessary to prepare the young for modest dog behaviour in the future when they meet grown-ups. Something the interns will only scarcely have a chance to learn, unfortunately.
No place here to have them meet strangers, other than in a wealthy town about 30 km or so away where dog owners meet on a horse racing track. We shall be visiting there sometime after the kritters won´t associate cars with vomitting containers anymore. Hopefully. |OP

How your basically socialized dog reacts on stranger dogs besides, for a good part depends on you. He will infallibly be sensing either your ease or fear and anticipate correspondingly. So, when I be out with the doggies in the future, I´ll not be climbing up a tree when the next mastiff might be gallopping towards us. Right? >chews his fingernails< :O| ;O/

12th of April

This morning Charlie overdid the subjugating thingy.
About to push over cowering away Dubie he lost balance for just a fraction of a second. Enough for dubie to figure that he was actually too measly to accomplish such. And before the second was over Dubie turned around and went fiercely on the poor guy. So fiercly and relentless even that I had to slap her with my rubber sandale before she´d let go.
So, apparently to a certain degree physics will matter still.

Charlie squealed like a piglet and even peed into his absent pants.
This Dubie girl is quite a pithy bitch. Extremely alert and mercyless.
She is always the first to notice any move around the house. She will even make out her mother and external sister while those quietly scampering 50 meters behind walls across the street. And she is so upset about strangers nearing the gate or entering the yard that I will have to do something to calm her before she grows too much into a warrior.

It´s almost as if her genetics had gone the dingo path. On travels accross the country I realized that indeed there is a remarkably constant appearance of a dingo like shape among the strays. Same size, same colour and hair length ... Quite in the way like with the reddish browns in "my" litter, only that the local dingo alikes have erected ears like their Australian paragones. Should the puppies however be taking the shape of their mother they´ll in the end not be looking like dingos at all. She rather ressembles a mixture of German setters and golden retrievers.

Anyway, I was actually about Dubie and her wild blood. It is clear that she would be a smart survivour out there and quite a hunter ( in the latter of which Susie could be even better. If there´s something to discover she´ll find it.) In domestic environment on the other hand, Dubie reminds me a bit of a wolf. So in need of affection with me, so wary about others and the "territory".

Of the unsavory applicants who asked to take a puppy some insisted on getting a male, for wanting the dog as house guard. Little did they know. I pointed out to them that often times females tend to be keener than males. And of the small number of dog fights ( with normal / naturally behaving dogs ) that end up lethal the most are between rivaling bitches.

Anyway, I sure hope that Charlie will be holding back with the damn hierarchy upkeep until he be at least in a physical position to. It was horrible to watch how Dubie bit into this boney little chap. Think to have covered all of the quarter with my intervening scream.

Hermann still emitted some bloody mess over night, though increasingly less. He walks much firmer and is slowly recovering his funny attitude.

I was wiping last nights unsightliness when barking announced another approach. Slightly unstrung about the never ending dimwit tourism I went out and saw two people whose harty appearing wrapped me in the very moment of spotting.
How long hadn´t I sensed this kind of spirits. The kind whose aura of dearness and harmlessness precedes them from a distance already.

A humble old lady and a young girl.
They said it would be known of me far away and that they had come to ask whether I could take one puppy. The girls grandmother would be pious and making a rising for the unholy animal to be given away asap. And then the old lady, now inside the yard, opened her lapel and suddenly out came the head of a fluffy puppy, maybe four weeks old.
Regretting that I could be of no help I gave them the docs visiting card so that they can at least get vaccination for the little guy.

As they were moving on, I found myself thinking like: `I´ve been seeking for folks like you since I came to here and there you are vanishing into anonymity again.´ Roughneck should had invited them for a tea.
- Just like I should had with the old man whome I saw at the vet over a year ago. This very sympathetic person had brought in a stray kitten and grimaced when the injection was given to the small patient. I spoke to him, but did not path further contact.

"The character defect I will take to the grave", as I saw our Richard paraphrase so well days ago, is an unconscious pretention as if I would not ever be needing anybody. Could possibly be genetical disposition from miserable aristocrat ancestors, dunno.

Evening:

Had an half hour time to have Charlie curled in on my lap. How he ( and the siblings) like to fully rest the head in your hand; heaven. And when you talk to them, with them putting a paw over their eyes, as if they were joking or hiding; so funny!

With the constant, though now far less dramatic ups and downs Charlie was without appetite today. I thus separated him into the garage and came down with two bowls of fried chicken & rice. The doggy bowl and a small one for me.
Pretending to be taking food out of the fodder bowl I would be loudly chewing the crispy stuff out of the small unit.
It helped in that the little friend would start diffidently eating, and yet every other time in beween trying to inspect my hidden away bowl. No fooling detective Charlie there.

And while about attentiveness once again:
I find it interesting how they don´t even try to come in upstairs. Other than in the morning, apparently for temperately notifying me of get up time, they will stay downstairs deliberately. As if they knew that I didn´t want them to follow.
I can even go down to the half-landing, glimpse after them and return. They will look at me, but stay at their place.
All that without having been instructed once.
-

Had about ten invaders today. The last one just threw something heavy at the gate while passing by.
That´s when a rudimental education is missing for to even have any knowledge of cheap pityness that is displayed by vicariously and spinelessly trying to molest other´s existance. Dumbs that aren´t yet aware of general basics.
I have done nothing to these people, don´t even know them, neither have the dogs.
But damn, I could. If you were however to go after such scumbags and broke someone´s jaw your life could be badly messed up. An immature legislation is supporting low life all the way.

I´ve just been told about a green place with a more civilized neighbourhood. But with barbadosed oustandings there´s not much hope of collecting to switch real estate soon.
Let´s try not thinking of the evil and hope that it will bring no more inanity over our lives.

Just saw Hermann standing at the bowl too. :O) - Don´t ask how he manages with torn intestines.
Escribano was so right: Puppies are incredibly tough.
- And transforming radically fast. Able to turn into living zombies within just a few days, and like Susie able to put on again just as quickly.

Some pics:

Part of the sickbay.

Susie, not yet fully in mood at the day of taken photo, but fit like a sneaker, as we like to say in German.

Dubie, yesterday still swaying and with hardly appetite. Today, only ONE day after the picture, fully romping about and only little away from being propper.

A succesful warrior after a mighty battle.

Really over? This afternoon there came up slight doubts, but surely vainly.

I´m trying to find something to drink.

To have a hearty toast on my friends, including you.

This is great news Ruphus, I feel happy seeing the life back their eyes in the latest pics.

As for the strange people throwing things at your gate. I don't know how you stand it? I hope you find a way to re locate and bring some peace to your situation.

Hey man, I hate it to not have responded when spoken to.
Just saw your post yesterday first time, as I needed the URL for linking to the thread. As e-mails get lost on the way to me every other time, I miss out on foro notifications eventually. Really sorry for that!

Also just saw Richards touching post first time. Otherwise I would had thanked him and expressed my sympathy for so dear looking old Jack!

Yes, am trying to relocate.
Many things have happened in the meantime of which a part has been noted offline ( not uploaded yet as I´m lagging behind with photo editing).

The irrational malevolence and destructve frenzy of the people indeed bares any discription, and right, as you say I really don´t know how to stand it.

A straight forward going they have provoked me to has lessened the intentional and unintetional invadings from maybe 30 to 10-15 per day now. And just until yesterday there were about four days of almost peaceful time, until yesterday when I had to shove a bugger away who was about to stand right before my face.

Further, there have come up relatively strong clues that these puppies are of a breed named Kangal. Hence no pets in that sense, and very demanding to keep. Let alone with 4 individuals in a much too small place. - Not to mention the steady molesting through passerbys, which must be totally unbearable to such strong and originally self-confident characters.

Just inquired in a special forum for Kangals yesterday, hoping for some expertise.
