Improve Ricardo's version....not in this lifetime....not enough time left for me

No, I was trying to make it easier for myself and play some simpler compass to start....but I guess that's the easy way out and I should attempt Ricardo's brilliant compass sections...OK I accept the challenge

Cheers

Thanks Rumbaking for your encouraging words!

I'm actually not discouraged but enjoying the challenge....it's a great fun falsetta to play...really enjoying learning it. I think these challenges are a brilliant way of improving one's skills over a short period.

With me because I have a background in drums and percussion, the syncopation of the falsetta is not a major hurdle....I've always been able to tap out the various rhythms I hear on the table top and then transfer them to the guitar. The challenge for me however is making all the arpeggio sections smooth and flowing. I find when I knock up the tempo too much the arpeggios begin to creak and groan with the strain Also rasguedos suffer when I go too fast...actually the whole of my flamenco technique falls apart at speed

Now you say you got it to 106 BPM....better start putting my foot on the pedal I think

Nice choice of falseta there Ricardo. I think I'll learn it but I wont post. I like the syncopation.

Hi rumbaking,

I don't mean start recording it on Saturday!

Your final recording should be done by now, or done this week and you should have a finished mp3 file ready to go by Saturday.
From 12.00 (GMT) SAT till 12.00 (GMT) SUN gives you 24 hours to log in and upload a small mp3...say 5 mins max?

You SURELY must have 5 mins spare time in 24 hrs?

cheers,

Ron
