My photo of the week 23

I found a roll of undeveloped film from our visit to Venice in July this evening, so I processed it. This is a shot of the wife. I like timeless images like these. I forgot my old light meter, so had to guess the exposure. I am getting there, I think.

Taken on a 1956 Rolleiflex.

Beautiful shot, lovely tonality, beautiful wife! Those old Rolleis are great aren't they?

It has somehow a 3d-ish feeling. Amazing.

Zeiss lenses have that reputation. It's the shallow depth of field on a medium format lens.

This one demonstrates the effect more clearly, I think.
