Help! my Alhambra sounds like a Conde

So not with exactly all the lovely overtones condes have, and a bit more close sounding than conde guitars. but when today I changed the bridge and nut from plastic to bone, lowered the bridge than before and put high tension strings. man.. its groaming now and got really conde sounding
I have a friend who plays a conde and we compared it today.
I think my wish came true after starting the conde treat last week or so. thanks foro flamenco for making my wishes come true
its a 7f by the way

thanks for being so willingly helpful elie. but in this case the title was more ironical

yesterday I was at a peña here in sevilla for a great show of people I know. anyway afterwards off course there was a juerga flamenca and there was a really good guitarist who was acommpanying. he played on a negra and it really sounded great. I thought wow this must be a very special expensive guitar. it sounded so flamenco.
after a while I took the guitar to accompany and found out its the guitar of the peña which is a cheap fabric made, with very old greasy strings and most of all a classical guitar, not flamenco.

so two things to learn from:
1 fabric guitars are not bad
2 it's the person who plays it
if he/she plays soft and not flamenco, than the guitar will sound the same

I had the same experience. It's good to confront the belief with reality. You notice that things are not always as you think to have understood them (reading on the www).
You really think a guitarrista will bring his 3k guitar in a pena or in a bar where everybody is drunk and the guitar passed from hands to hands?
C'mon maybe this could happen but it's the exception not the rule IMO. Personnaly i didn't venture.
