I think its only a matter of time before George modifies his guitars. I think its talented getting all these sounds out of the guitar but it still lacks something to me. I couldnt listen to a full album of it. Thomas leeb does some good paradies chech him out!

Its fine for me. To much reverb and on the pop side of the moon, but he´s doing his thing and that IMO is 10 times better than some dude making flamenco sound like elevator music.
I´m not going to a concert with this guy, and nor will I buy a CD, but he´s ok...

If you want to experience werid sounds from guitars, see if you can find Robert Fripp doing experimental free form music alone. I once played at festival. (I played a highly distorted wah-wah violin) where he was doing his thing... And -- weird but kinda cool

A fine player, no doubt.

It's a whole tradition that goes back to Michael Hedges.

When it comes to acoustic guitar I prefer more gutsy players, whatever that means

Leo Kottke is a fine example.
