here every time there was a concert, they let in a few people who waited at the artist entry, this took at most 10 minutes...maybe you should contact the organizers and ask them...
i caught Paco outside smoking with Duquende and David, two hours after the concert :D

that's the great thing about being in flamenco everyone is very accessible...i myself have never meet Paco, hasn't been here in years... so i cant say 100% for certain but i am pretty sure you will get to meet him if you hang out by the artist door after

i love that about flamenco...

yeah flamencos are great and friendly people, got to meet many other artists this way, hopefully in a month i'll get to chat with Vicente too :)

When Vicente was in the NY area, I spoke to him for about 10 minutes after the concert. He is a really humble and nice person. Too bad i didn't have a digital camera to take a pic or it would have been nice to play for him. There is always the possibility of a next time.

I am not sure if he knows english. I was talking to him in spanish but I assume he speaks some english.

Don't they sell more expensive tickets that allow you to go hang out with the performers after the concert? I know of the concept of "backstage passes" in rock / pop concerts...

Yep, when I was in a band it was called "Backstage Pass" or "Access All Areas" - mostly for press, band, roadies, sound engineers, technicians and managers at the larger gigs. Being on the guest list was called a "Plus One" - the guest, plus one other.

Best bet is to head for the stage door straight after the gig and just wait. Even better, you may be able to find out which restaurant/bar they are heading for.
