Yeah! I finally have my blanca

I picked it up today. Its made by Chris Carrington in Rockwall, TX.

It has an Engelman Spruce top, and Alaskan Yellow Cedar back and sides.
It also has Pedheds tuners with the gearing hidden inside the pegs.
I picked it up a bit early- the french polish wont take a golpeador until
another two weeks of drying.

Still sounds great though.

very nice guitar! I like the rounded bridge ends, rosette looks interesting aswell, I'd love to see some more pictures soon :D

The end of the fretboard is cut with 2 curves instead of one. Kind of stylish.

the more I look at your guitar the more I want to make a rounded bridge for my 1st blanca, looks so romantic, reminds me of those guitars form the 1800's

The rosette is made of abalone, so it basically looks like mother of pearl with an oil slick on it.

Id love to post video, but I need to wait till next week when Ill have the golpeador on. I can do a comparative video showing the other guitar I have from the same maker. It has rosewood back and sides, and a redwood top.
