Tomorrow (2nd july) it will be the anniversary of his death. Next year it will be the 20 years celebration.

This is one of my favourite Camaron tracks.

Tomatito plays like a Gitano Demon high on duende.....

I love how Tomatito smiles when Camaran sings that amazing "note bending" tempul...as if to say "OK man"...)

They both drive each other on...as it should be...

PS: I had a go at that intro myself a few years ago...guitar is a student model Bernal Blanca (modelo Sueño) with Savarez high tension strings.

Thanks for that link Ron. That's a sad story of which I was not aware. I will also have to procure this album of his which Watts says was so controversial.

I have fallen in love with flamenco. But it's limited by my inability to understand Spanish.

I love Tomatitos accompaniment. I have a friend who jokes about his alzapua as an pneumatic air hammer from a mechanics garage, like he has a pressure air hose fitting in his elbow.
