I bought the PdL documentary and the video with him playing as part of the trio. Received the DVDs on time and in excellent condition. That was many years ago...

I used to be a loyal customer and they were great until the past year, maybe things have improved again?

I ordered my flamenco shoes in march 2011, and they said it would take 60 days and a week of shipping for it to get here, so I was expecting to get it by may 10th 2011, and I received it on April 28th,2011. I think they are good, that was the only and first time I ever ordered something from them

I see... . I think i dont have so much patience to order a book. I prefer to write it myself. It takes less.

RE: Flamenco-World.com (in reply to gounaro

I am going through an absolute NIGHTMARE with Flamenco-World.com. I will NEVER do business with them again. I also regret having used PayPal, as I cannot dispute the charge beyond 45 days and Flamenco-World.com claims it takes up to 60 days to receive custom goods. Well, it has been over 110 days and still no goods and the one thing they did send me was completely wrong, not what I ordered. I've been trying to send it back as per their terms -- if they send you the wrong thing, they're supposed to arrange for and pay for return shipping (it ain't cheap from the US to Spain!). I've tried contacting them scores of times but they simply ignore me and yet they have my money. I am really nervous about their ethics. I've called them and got one guy, Alan, who knew all about my case, said he'd arrange the return of the skirt and check on the shoes, but did absolutely nothing. Now they won't even answer the phone if I call. I've sent countless emails and NOTHING. Last night I tried calling about a dozen times but it never was answered over a period of two hours. This was an expensive order and I'm concerned I will never get my money back. I'm about to complain to all the international authorities. These folks seem hopeless to me. They do not seem to be in business at all. This has been nothing but an enormous waste of precious time, energy, and money.

They used to be great. However, I had 2 bad experiences (back to back) last year. My orders we delayed about 4 weeks past the expected date of receipt. There was no communication sent notifying my of the delay or why it was delayed.

When I inquired about my first order I received a response within the next day. However, the second time this happened to me I did not receive a response until after I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge.

As much as I like them and the great offers they have, I have decided not to order from them anymore because there are other vendors that have comparable prices and actually deliver within the stated time frame.

It is so weird how inconsistent they apparently are, reading all these comments and bad reviews. I think I placed like three to four orders with them in the last 18 months or so and I never had any issues with any of their orders. Always got it in a timely manner and no problems. Sorry to hear about those of you who had bad experiences.

I ordered a few shirts on April 29th, 2011, and to this day, I never received anything. I submitted several tickets (and someone had the nerve to close the ticket without notifying me) and I have gotten back ZERO response. It's like they don't exist. They should just email me something, ANYTHING. This is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.

Now I gotta make a stupid international call at odd hours of the day for me (I'm in PST time zone) and see if I can dispute this before I take it up anywhere higher. They are the worst service provider ever and I will never do business with them again.

I recently ordered an encuentro dvd from flamenco-world.com, it didn't arrive, they didn't respond to my email. It wasn't until I opened a dispute in paypal that they finally informed me it was out of print. I'm still waiting for the refund to come through.
