Not ecologically worthwhile - but wo...

After Deniz posted his brief review of stringsbymail I tried that company and I'm satisfied:

I was placing my annual order of 12 sets in april.
I chose the cheapest shipping option and was already prepared for a long waiting time. Wouldn't have been a problem to wait for a couple of weeks though, as I had enough strings left to keep on playing at least with fresh basses for quite some time.

Today, after 2 months, I recieved the package which cost me additional 15€ of import taxes that I payed at the door.
The strings are exactly the ones I ordered and even with taxes I saved 10€ compared to German retailers.

Somehow it is insane to place an order at a U.S. company and recieve my strings from overseas, still saving some money. Seems weird especially because I ordered Hannabach treble sets which are crafted in Germany as far as I know.
No wonder people don't give a **** on environmental damages...

edit: By the way, Hannabach 828 trebles are really good sounding strings!
