My guitar No. 7

Hy

That's just to let you know that i'm about to finish my guitar No. 7.

http://www.freeimagehosting.net/image.php?c64712011f.jpg

It is a blanca with a Barbero/Arcangel style bracing.

It's the first guitar with a soundboard that was tuned to a ringmode using the chladni patterns.

I'm curious about it's outcome

regards

Armando

cool. Looks a lot like the bracing I use.
Have you done the chladni with the bridge on? What's the main top resonance? And how heavy is your bridge?

Don't follow the link on Armando's post. It appears to be infected with a virus or trojan horse.

Hy deteresa1

No i've done the free plate tuning following the Alan Carruth method.
However i think i'd have to try with the bridge on, but actually that is still not enough. Actually the sides should also be mounted and that appears to me to be too much of a hassle for the moment. Maybe i gonna try that later. Let's see how that guitar turns out first.

Armando

When I looked at your picture a message came on my screen stating "you are infected...starting scan...etc." I immediately jumped off the browser and am now doing a full scan of my computer. Sorry if I mislead anyone but it's better safe than sorry.

Armando, I received numerous virus warnings when I first clicked on the site. This was from a strange out of network company, not my regular virus protection, so I'll run my own service to see if there is any harm done.

RE: My guitar No. 7 (in reply to Armando

Hi all

Sorry for the inconvenience with my picture. I have no explanation for that problem.

I use a mac computer and they are usually less affected by virus and malware. I use Kaspersky anti virus and i scanned my computer and also that picture for a virus but the search was without result so i have to assume that it is not my computer or my picture that is affected. Maybe it is the host.

Tom which link had the virus warning? Was it on imageshack or freeimagehosting.net?

Sorry, i really don't want anybody to catch a virus.

please help me to find the problem

Thanks

regards

Armando

No problem for me Armando and no need for remorse on your part. I suspect the it's totally the fault of the host.

I think it was an advertisement from some strange company that wanted me to use their virus protection. I checked it out with my system and no harm done.
