RE: Need your help : fake Hnos Sanch... (in reply to ashod

I recieved a call from the shop today.

They told me the problem was solved.
I asked what it was. They said something about the saddle angle not being perfect and making the Si cord vibrate strangely with friction.

I'm supposed to go pick my guitar saturday. I'll be sure to play it there for an hour before going anywhere, just to be sure. But I'm a bit relieved, I really like this sexy piece of wood even after just a few days spent with her in my arms and hands...

I got my guitar back.

The problem is fixed! Oh My God! I'm in love with it!

Playing guitar has never been such a pleasure. The guitar responds like it's alive. I'll post a video soon, although I doubt it can transcribe the feeling of it when played in your arms.

To all the flamenco players (rombsix comes to my mind) who are still playing on classical guitars (like I did for 13 years), you really should get a flamenco one...

And to all those who haven't tried a maple guitar, you really should play one for a week to feel its deepness.

Anyway, I'm really happy with it now that the problem is fixed.
Thanks for your support! And long live guitar makers

HolyEvil,

The strings on the guitar are tuned like this :

Mi La Re Sol Si Mi

The Si string was making a strange noise, and the specialist at the shop quickly figured it was the saddle that had a bad angle where the Si string "sits".

WOOOOOT, I love my guitar

Have to work it out now

Good, I hate it when you look forward to something that you have thought about long and hard, then ordered and it is not as you had hoped.

Like that guitar I ordered that ended up having a loudspeaker glued to the the inside of the soundhole and the loose top was held on by the strings..

cheers,

Ron
