Description

An interactive Workshop on how to play Contemporary styles on the Cajon. We will explore new possibilities of how to apply rhythms usually performed on drums and learn to transfer them onto this new and hip instrument.

Contents  

:: The Cajon and the sonic possibilities of the instrument. 
:: Contemporary styles: Pop, rock, reggae, funk, acoustic applications.
 :: Drumset patterns and fills applied to the cajon. 
:: Hand, finger techniques and brushes.
 :: Improvisation techniques.
