My Yamaha is not for sale. They've discontinued the CG171SF and you'd be lucky to find one new.

Yes, the CG171SF is discontinued. If you check all the online stores, you won't find it available anymore.

No Katoh guitars in the US. Nearest equivalent is the Cordoba F7 but I have not liked the finish workmanship and quality control on the two that I examined. If you buy one, examine it carefully and make sure you're covered by a good return policy. They're priced at $500 (though you can get them for $400-$425 on sale days).

I have seen that listed there for a while now. Wonder if it's legit? I just would rather buy from foro members than ebay...

Wondering if Francisco has ramped-up his production. Seems that a lot of folks in Texas are now selling his student guitars. Hope that the quality has kept-up.

Also noticed that this seller puts them in gig-bags. Didn't other sellers sell them with cases?
