jg, you are right. I can only get punchy scales up to about 220-225. After that they become softer.

No, what you said is absolutely right. I agree with you. It's been a while since I practiced scales and maybe I can get that punch into the faster ones as well. Cheers!

Rain, it is actually from a taranto called "Virgen del Mar". at_leo_87, after watching his 1 minute plus scale marathon and who knows what other powers he has up his sleeve, I might just go back to playing Carcassi etudes.

Ok, this is beyond silly, but i was practicing a bit of a 3 finger picado and wanted to post this 15 second clip of practicing a 3 finger picado ascending E major scale.

Grisha, I thought it could have been a bit more tasteful. It kind of reminds me of Legnani's caprices. Maybe I'll put it back adding a descending run.
